You can't go wrong with a gold spoon! I've caught plenty huge snook on a gold spoon.

Somebody told me you're not allowed to cull (upgrade) Redfish. Is that correct or not?
Someone else made a comment here saying it was illegal and then they deleted the comment, I'm not sure why. I asked them to post a link of the guideline here or email me. They emailed the link and here it is pertaining to tournaments: myfwc.com/license/saltwater/redfish-tournament/ I'll steer clear of upgrading from now on.

Keeping a red on the stringer to "upgrade to a bigger one later" is pretty stupid. You are going to float a red off dead to keep another one?
