Great video, I appreciate the fact that you understand the Max's capabilities and the proper way to maximize its lifting capabilities. Tractor on my friend!
When l go to the supply yard l always bring extra pallets. Along with my trusty "deck-over" 14,000 give 22' trailer (it's usually over-kill), but for the "ramming-speed" =="green-horn" LOADING crews it makes things super simple. With the capability to put 5 pallets per side (increadably easy) LOADING on & off with the right amount of weight the first time for the tractor. In the market for a lighter weight (maybe a 12,000 lb) 20 footer , MUST be another "deck-over"----I will deal with the higher deck height & longer ramps forever more than gladly. Nice little tractor demo l am looking to get tractor #4. The "leverage factor" will get you every time on fork loading&unloading. I go for the many LIGHT & FAST loads technique;;; plus it is safer & much much easier on the tractor-rig & doesn't BUST the front axle.
Donald thanks for watching and sharing! The deck over really does look much better for hauling pallets and stuff and probably what I’d go with if I had to haul Materials regularly. My dove tail is nice and low, but it took some really skilled guys to load pallets of lumber on it and not destroy the wheel Wells!
Just Fyi, Max26 hydraulic pressures are characteristically set at 1850 Psi, about 250 psi lower than factory spec says they are set, I have mine set at 2,200 psi with shims.
Scott, thanks for watching. Unfortunately I have the same problem. It’s usually when I’m on a hard surface and the weight is hanging out in front. I really only notice it when the forks are on and the load is heavy or near max lift weight.

Hey Brother, thanks for watching as always!

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! I might have to play around with the hydraulics eventually! -Jon@SBYD!
PS I have about 800 LBS CW on the 3 Pt
I have a Max26XLT - I find the steering very stiff with any kind of heavy load - do you see this as well?

Yes on soft ground.
