Love how Ryuk is making fun of her for being and love and telling her it's pointless, but at the very end of the reprise he gives her a genuine and serious warning about breaking the law. Its small but it gives characterization to their relationship showing that Ryuk does care for her in some capacity.

I see these two with a sibling type relationship. A sibling would tease the other for something like this, while also warning them to be careful and that is exactly what Ryuk’s doing here. That or my familial issues are looking too deep into this

Yes, I love how they expanded upon their relationship. Wish they had more scenes together in the manga.
I managed to convince my other half - otherwise a manga agnostic - to give this musical a try. She likes it now; Mortals and Fools and this reprise are her faves.
Of course the ultra lesbian Shinigami helped 😉

The Reprise is quite short, so after tenth time I'm starting to tire, but my ears plea for more - the violins, the voices... The lyrics that I know now thanks to you.
It's wonderful.
I recommend listening to Beaneath The Moonless Sky from Love Never Dies if you like songs like this, quite like me.
Edit: I forgot to mention and I STRESS that you listen to the Australian production of Love Never Dies. Though for it's prequel, Phantom of the Opera, is the opposite. Start off with Sierra Boggess as Christine Daee if you do start listening to POTO since she's quite popular.
The dichotomy of the driving strings with this beautiful lamenting melody is SO good

Ryuk taking the place Rem had in the original version, as Rem takes Misa's place in the song is very nice storytelling

Have you ever considered uploading the Russian versions of these songs? (I don't think there's a Russian version of this reprise, Requiem, the Hurricane/The Death Note reprises, or The Way Things Are/The Unwavering Truth (Reprise), but all the other songs do have Russian versions.)
Eeeeeh... Believe a Russian fan: thia is not really a good idea. There are only records from live perfomances, for just a few songs, and the translation is... far less than good. The meaning is so much transformed and lost so much depths it... is deeply upsetting.
