Very well thought out use of space. It would be so easy for a place like that to look cluttered, but it doesn’t at all. It looks very livable.
Definitely needs a 2x a day quick clean! But that only takes a few minutes 😅

You NAILED it! Not only are you making great use of the space, but you're also living sustainably. A space like that means you don't accumulate material things that you don't need. You're not heating/cooling space that's not being used. A++ You set a great example for how we all should be living.

I love the way you've taken advantage of every square inch of the place to get the most out of its functionality without sacrificing aesthetic value. It's the magic of minimalism. The apartment looks very comfortable in general, and that, in my case, is one of the most important factors. We recently traded in our old sofa for an LC3 Sofa from Manhattan Home Design as we felt it saved us a lot more space and it still looks amazing. We want to add some small indoor plants as well. Thanks for sharing the tour!
As someone who also lives in a tiny condo in Toronto it is so interesting to me to see how you configured the space. Would love to know what kind of washer/dryer you have as well as those weights look really cool too! I like how you utilized the 'living room' to suit what works for you guys right now with the pandemic and all, excellent ideas!

@@MichaelRizzi that’s great!! I’m really looking forward to it since I wanted to do my balcony this week but it got delayed because it’s haling and snowing and terrible here (the Netherlands) which is weird because it was 25 Celsius (77 Fahrenheit) here last week!

The 9 foot ceilings make the space seem bigger. Lots of light and great use of space plus a fantastic view. Balcony is a must when living in a condo with a dog! Great job. Cheers ✌❤

I'm always amazed how tiny (and expensive) space actually is in cities (specially in large ones). As European country guy I'm not used to that, I live alone on so much more space. But you definitly made the most of it :)

The favorite part of the condo is the large outdoor space and its potential, and the view! Very nice!

If it were my place I would put an elevated bed (loft bed) in the bedroom so I could use the space beneath for a couch movie hangout space or desk area. When weather is permitting I would put the stationary bike on the balcony. Seems like you are very happy in the condo with Oscar.

You've set up the space for your specific needs, and it works. You made a good choice to have an apartment with both a good-sized balcony and laundry machines. Women tend to clutter their spaces with ornamental stuff, but you've made functional use of it all, so the place looks open and bright.
Your place is awesome. That couch is amazing. Never saw anything like that. Never saw rugs that were two layers;peel and wash. Love it. I have a bunch of smart lights as well and they are one of my favorite things. Congratulations on your new home guys!
I lived in Montreal (studying) decades ago, but I have never been to Toronto or any other major Canadian city - so I always find videos like these fascinating. I have a condo myself (Phoenix) but it is only on the first floor of a one-floor building north of downtown. My front window faces my neighbor's stucco wall and my back window faces my stucco patio wall. Needless to say, not much of a view. I would absolutely LOVE a view like your place has, and Toronto seems like a great city!

You two are quite lucky in that you live in a city/town that was designed to be first and foremost a condo town in the first place. Not all cities and town are designed as such and that in it self is a ready good thing indeed.
yeah.. it's really not though. There's no condos with schools or daycares in them, many condos are excluded from being part of the local public school catchment, and many condos don't have retail or public transportation access via underground.
So smart with the space! Well done, I cant believe how efficient everything is here!!

Good use of the space/looks great. That said, the sad part is that 500 sq. ft. in Toronto likely costs about $1,000,000 to buy, give or take a bit.
Wow! Toronto and Vancouver are both so doggone expensive - not sure how anyone affords it anymore!

my first apartment was the same size but it didn't have a separated bedroom or washing machines and a modern kitchen. I like how the space is used in your apartment, it looks so comfy.

Looking for a condo around Downtown toronto, which is built within this 5 years will all have similar layout/construction standards like this one.
You can take a look around core toronto, liberty village, or even around yorkville. North York has many condos like this, maybe a lower rent (also more asian resturants around, korean, japanese etc. and population is not that crowded) I woud say to find condos looking like this is not hard, basically this is a good toronto condo standards now. Many builder choose to build it in this wide-open, modern style (with the nice marble contertops, built-in appliances and such)
Also, if you download the app called housesigma, you can see all rental listings on the app, including all prices and pics. in all locations.
