My friend, I urgently need some help. I speak here from Brazil, I have a Chet Atkins SST 1993 steel strings and I have a big problem in the electrical part of it in general, the board is detonated and with the soldering tracks in very bad condition, it is impossible to use it. I need to replace the whole circuit but I can't find it for sale here in Brazil, much less anyone who can restore it... Can you help me in any way?
Hi Brazil! The electronics from these 1993 guitars are not replaceable. Occasionally someone will sell the circuit board on Reverb here in the U.S., but those circuits are very old, and I wouldn't rely on a replacement, even if you could find one. I have replaced the pickup with a L.R. Baggs LB6 acoustic guitar pickup (www.lrbaggs.com/acoustic-guitar-pickup-systems/lb6) and run it through an external pre-amp. You could also do what I did with this guitar, turning the active circuit into a passive one, and running out through a pre-amp.
hey bud nice set up where can i buy the same pick up set you have thanx
Hello, I would like to know where to buy this pickup and the wooden accessory, thank you

Hello, if I want to replace the tuners with chet atkins ce, will the usual ones be suitable for a classical guitar?
I think the tuners on the guitar are Schallers with standard dimensions.
