Banette is really fun, played banette gardy to win a cup with some cool tech cards. Played it with lumineon v, salvatore, arven and a 1-1 noivern ex line to get consistent T2 item locks and noivern ex was for ancient box MU since it was so -ve
@@limhaoyangmoe9442 Sometimes it can help in Miraidon if a DTE ever hits the field for whatever reason. It kinda helps my control matchup too and if Dragapult is ever on a Neo upper its a free KO. Lugia is hit or miss, sometimes they have it, and sometimes they have to discard or burn through them early in the game making the attack useful. Plus as I said the 230 Helps a lot
Idk how I feel about iron thorns. I'm not sure if my decks just counter it or what but it seems to be a joke... I've never once had an issue when running into it, for context I'm currently playing torterra ex for one deck and sometimes tsareena ex for my other one. I think it may be because I'm just tankier than it can handle. I also once had an iron thorns mulligan 10+ times on the tcg app so there's that too.
So I use okidogi and the only deck I have yet to be at is regidrago. I'm about 50/50 against zard, Ive only lost to Gardevoir once out of 5 matchups. I struggle a lil bit against flapple.
Many thanks for the video! As always, it is very useful and clear. Just a quick question, please. Why would Sparkling Crystal be better than Neo Upper Energy? You have to search for two items (the tool and the regular energy) and still find a way of placing one energy on the same turn.
Because Arven searches for sparkling. Crystal and nothing in the deck searches for neo upper. Also I guess sinnoh might be more popular than jamming tower? That one may vary.
Anyone in this comment section that could point me to where I can find Banlists or rotation schedules for Standard while also seeing rules for any eternal formats available? New to. The game and info is kinda hard to find.
Yes! There’s no ban list for standard currently. Standard format rotation has happened in April the past few years and is assumed to stay that way. Each year 1 letter regulation mark rotates out. So in April it is assumed that cards with regulation mark F will rotate out. Outdated video but still has some good info; ua-cam.com/video/VNrOFy_5HzM/v-deo.htmlsi=GWd2PM9gnjjSPCHi

I don’t get the hype behind the Banette deck. I never see it do well, and everyone’s answer is “the right player needs to pilot it, it’s a high skill ceiling deck” but that’s what everyone said about Pidgeot control. Like you might get one person that goes on a run in Day 2, but I feel like the deck is mid, and by the time someone “figures it out” Galvantula will be out, and it’s objectly the better item locker.
@@raipanda133 Thats cause only like 3-6 people have the guts to play the decks to big events. They can be very strong if played right. I've played Pidgeot control for quite a bit now and the deck is actually broken. You just need to have the matchup knowledge and understand how to navigate the earlygame.
Weird.... there's no Hydrapple ex on the list , when it's rped Zard and Pult so hardly most of the match Edit : also extra , it's 100% win if you go with Stellar Crown Dipplin against Iron Thorn *Prevent damage from all basic pokemon* And they only got Quad Thorns up their sleeves
You say you're not disrespecting Thorns but then proceed to disrespect Thorns. I went from 220 to 1620, Arceus League, in 4 short weeks in Live. It has done nothing but crush online tourneys and got a solid top 8 finish at Worlds, 2nd place in Juniors as well. It only has a few weak meta matchups such as Dragapult and Ancient Box, it's pretty much 50/50 or better into the rest of the meta. Put some god damn respect on Thorn's name.
Getting Arceus is a joke as long as you play a lot, you can rank up even with negative wr. Thorns is a gimmicky deck, the moment people start to tech some cards it's meh
@@AstorgamesTCG it only got that far because someone made a very stupid mistake at the end of his top 8 match. we all saw him lose 2-0. yeah, i'm disrespecting the hell out of it!!
The game needs to go back to the roots and stop with the cheap looking ex, gx,... cards. Also the holo should be like the early ones again, the new holo looks very bad.
Banette is a high skill level deck. With the right pilot it’s powerful, with an average pilot it’s not effective
Absolutely

Time to grind the deck and practice 😊
I’d disagree. I believe you could use it effectively lol
i've been liking Haxorus in my regidrago. Being able to hit 230 just like that makes life easier, and if special energy ever show up i have the Axe
But mist energy

Imma sub to this guy bc he uploads vids about decks and I can rlly use it, can you make a vid about groundon?? With the attack drought?
Just getting into the pokemon tcg, are any of these decks better for beginners?
I’ve been teching flutter mane in my raging bolt list for iron thorns
Venomoth missing in Honorable Mentions? : /
Thoughts on Palkia in Stellar Crown? Seems cracked with the new stadium but im not sure what the optimal 60 is for it.

Do you see a risk of Lugia falling to much after stellar crown? I want to find a deck that stay in A tier until next year
Lugia will always be good. But it's very expensive to buy now knowing it's going to rotate out next rotation.

Why not go for the Ancient Booster Capsule instead of the Bravery Charm in the Raging Bolt decks?

Arven searches for Crystal. Also with Crispin Neo Upper isn't really needed anymore.

what's the use of manaphy tho, it doesnt seem to protect me from receiving those damages, unless it is a bug for me in pokemon tcg live
manaphy protects from damage, not damage counters. Damage counters are considered an effect.
