I am 53 and retired at 50. 1 thing I did do to retire early was to get out of the 401K and IRA programs. Bought rental real-estate and I am now a Limited Partner in about 3500+ units. I do not work.

I only contribute 5% to get full company match, that’s it. The 401K plan is designed for you to work until you are about dead. Also, the government does not have their hands on it yet either.

My wife and I live off of our 401K. We don't work. I recommend highly to everyone to build your 401K or Roth IRA's as an alternate revenue stream in retirement to your Social Security. An observation on 401K's is when it gets over 300K it starts to accelerate. When you get over 500K it can really accelerate as the stock market grows

If I may ask, as in withdrew all of the money from the 401K and IRA programs? If so, what was your strategy behind that decision? Thank you.

To answer your question, The decision on when to pick an Adviser is a very personal one. I take guidance from ‘Monica Mary Strigle‘ to meet my growth goals and avoid mistakes, she's well-qualified and her page can be easily found on the net.

I agree the mrkt is manipulated that’s why I never contribute above 5% I try to enjoy the ride while I invest.

Frugality lets you maintain a balance where only your priorities come first , leading you to a secure financial future. I am avoiding debt , saving and investing around 40 percent of my income. I have a high paying engineering job, and I live upstate MN. since covid 19 my expenses are extremely low. I have zero debt on a 7 figure portfolio, low rent and car paid off. So i can just save. feel lucky and grateful my fiduciary came into play.

Money is not meant to control people, rather it is meant to be put to work producing more money for you. You cannot build wealth without putting money in its rightful place

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

Very possible! especially at this moment. Profits can be made in many different ways, but such intricate transactions should only be handled by seasoned market professionals.

Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.

Yes, Warren Buffet still lives in his home in Nebraska but he also have homes in Hawaii, California, Europe and many other locations. There's armed security guards 24/7 at his Nebraska home as well. While he may still live in his first house, he has acquired many others. He was frugal, and that has allowed him to spend lavishly

People dismiss the importance of advisors until they are burned by their own emotions.
I remember a couple of summers ago, following my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to assist my business stay alive, so I looked for qualified consultants and came across someone with the highest qualifications. He has helped me raise my reserve from $275k to $850k, despite inflation.

Most people want to “ look rich” rather than to be rich. Lots
of insecure people out there who will go into major debt to play the part.

I am surprised there are no scammer bot posts yet bragging about huge returns from some mysterious Ms. So and so on the internet, which is then instantly followed by replies praising the scammer as well. I’m sure those posts are coming though…

Although I don't consider my wealth level high at all, I never talk about it. In this age, one can become a target very easily. Loose lips about your own wealth may sink your own ship. Of course you want to brag about your luck in life, but it's best to be disciplined, and remain silent. Don't bring it up when dating, or with whom you believe to be are friends or great neighbors. Things can turn on a dime, as we live in a litigious society. I agree with the concept of establishing a Trust, as I have one in place. I'm going to look at what an LLC will do for me. Continuing to fly under the radar allows me to sleep very well these days.
