Thank you so much. I have been looking for a channel like this that talks about this world as if it is real it is my favorite way to learn about Dungeons & Dragons. Sometimes it bothers me when they’re constantly making fun of the racist that seems silly, but they are not thank you for treating them like a real people. It’s so cool thank you for putting in the effort.
Campaign idea: somehow many small kuo toa tribes get together, creating a town of roughly 5k individuals. The most ambitious priest unites them all under one unified faith. The combined power of their faith super charges the chosen god, making him/her/them the most powerful deity of a sea, possible even in the whole creation. This deity tries to flood the land, creating an ocean that surrounds the whole planet, a new utopia under the waves. The waves reaching 7 meters in height swallow the coastal settlements, all aquatic races are brainwashed to follow the call of the revolution. No air breather will survive unless they surrender and grows gills. Party can: 1. Grow gills and disappoint the DM. 2. Try to kill all kuo toa, that charge the deity, like removing the batteries from a machine. 3. Somehow kill the sea mother or other chosen god. Pls give me a feedback
5k Kuo Toa making a god THAT powerful??? Seems way too few. Chauntae has hundreds of millions of worshippers, and she isn't that powerful. Bump up the number of lil guys doing this.
@@stoneharvey1017 the deal is that kuo toa were (according to other lore) long time ago captured and experimented on by mind flayers. That changed them, they fell into madness and gained a super power: they are now able to "believe" more, harder. Thanks to that even a small tribe can create a minor deity. So I believe 5 thousand of them, united under one faith, is more than enough to super charge any deity. Of course I'm not saying all of that happens in a span of hours, I believe the world should be flooded by.....4 mounts.
