    Hey, I implemented your techniques for lateral raises and rear delts and it has made a world of difference. Combined with frequency, my delts are developing better than any other point in my lifting life.

    I just watched this video last night because I had traps tonight. I used to have a tough time feeling my traps... not anymore! And I had a crazy nasty pump on in my traps today. Big thanks Seth, you the man!

  • @Ganbarizer

    I’ve been doing them straight legged/armed because a lot of videos I’ve watched about shrugs recommended it. No wonder I wasn’t getting any pump or real growth! Gonna try this method in my workout today. Thanks!

    Oh man... I've been going a little too light to make sure I have this perfect form, but my arms do always want to step in, so I really have to over focus on that form... I bet a little more weight to let my arms hang better will be the perfect balance... You're awesome. Thanks. At least I've nailed down the form, now the extra weight will take me that extra step...
    Pros really do have the best little secrets that make a world of difference.

    SETH, I have been doin rack pulls and farmers walks and traps have grown faster than ever! I will be adding this to my repertoire fosho

    • @dirtmcgirt01
      @dirtmcgirt01 7 років тому

      Hohmies Mcfly stick with rack pulls, farmers walks and start deadlifts if you're not already. If your not deadlifting learn how, start easy and do it right. Shrugs alone don't cut it for big traps. Train your neck with the neck flex or a standard head harness.

    • @GForceIntel
      @GForceIntel 7 років тому +1

      dirtmcgirt01 You sound like you watch alphadestiny

    • @dirtmcgirt01
      @dirtmcgirt01 7 років тому

      GForceIntel I have and it lead me to a lot of other channels that revolve around powerlifting and strong man. Alpha destiny learned that the power lifting movements and strong man movements make you strong and make you look strong. I take bits and pieces away from all these UA-cam channels and apply to myself. You could get jacked from bench press, dead lift, overhead press, and squat alone. Take those 4 and it's variations and design your own routine based off it. Using assistance exercises that carryover to the 4 main lifts and focusing on getting strong at those will make a guy look like a brick shit house.
      When's the last time someone saw a power lifter or strongman competitor and said "gee, that guy looks like a pussy".

    • @geetambaishya4476
      @geetambaishya4476 7 років тому

      what do you guys think the weight in the rack pull should be to have decent traps?

    • @Hohmies86
      @Hohmies86 7 років тому

      yan kashyap well I just spent 8 months in federal prison and we had a weight pile there and I was able to do rack pulls and farmers walks, I worked up to doing it every other day and after a month and a half they grew and grew, other inmates thought I was stupid but soon saw I was not. Always upping the weight and murdering the traps every session. But no matter what if you don't take in lots of protein you will not grow. I became very in tune with my body and how different foods help. Sweet potatoes are gold for energy

    This is a fantastic exercise. I've used this for a few years with a slight variation. It is the exact movement except the shoulders are moving in a "J" formation. At the top of the movement your chest should be out, delts squeezed back and up with the bent elbows. Just throwing it out there.

  • @AnotherOverTaxedTaxPayer

    I tried this technique today for the first time. Kind of needs getting used to coming from the perspective of hanging the arms perfectly straight and just shrugging straight up. I will know tomorrow how well this technique works after I wake. It kind of tells me how well it worked by the soreness and tightness the next morning. I know that sound crazy....

    • @SethFeroceOfficial
      @SethFeroceOfficial  8 років тому +24

      Harley Rider no bro that doesn't sound crazy. That is the best way to make a judgement call from my standpoint. Everything I do is based on personal feel. If it doesn't feel right or not working, and I have to be real with myself not just do because it is hard or don't like it, then I move on to something different. Don't lose that quality. I honestly believe that today so many people follow the norm because it's the norm. Not because they like it or because it works. That is one of the main reasons I started making these videos. Thank you for the comment and hope these vids help man! 💪
