Making Mobile Crane - Using Planetary Gearbox

Making your own workshop crane may be pointless for many of you when you can go to Habrot Freigh and buy a new one for little money.
However, I decided to do it myself for several reasons.
I adjusted the dimensions to fit my small and low workshop.
The wheels are small, so I can roll them under my tables, which gives me greater opportunity to precisely place heavy elements.
I used a winch instead of a hydraulic jack so I can pull heavy things that are out of reach of the crane

Is there a brake on the gearbox? I'd be worried about it slowly letting it out if it's just the friction of the gearbox holding the weight

Back in the 70 Mother Earth News built a table top mounted winch using a truck transmission, but it was hancranked never made much sense to me.
