The secret bait, colors, and modifications are cool. And they always seem to get the most views. But I really hope to start seeing more bass behavior, tournament strategy, and mental side of fishing videos. Really love your content. Thanks randy!

Randy would love love to see you do a video on smallmouth behavior especially in Highland reservoirs. I fish Bull Shoals and love to chase smallmouth.

You definitely got this right. When I throw a Jig it is the color combo I have tied on 90% of the time. Also you are correct on The size of fish it catches ,you will rarely catch a fish that is not a keeper on this bait with most over 3 lbs and bigger have caught many 5-6 lb fish on this bait with the largest being 8.47 .Thanks for keeping it old school.

I got my Blaukat Ol school jigs with blue chunks and can't wait to give jig fishing a try. Waiting on the water temp to get up a little and excited to be jig fishing again after 20 years. I really like the action of the live rubber skirts on my new jigs and can't wait to see how they perform with catching a few chunks this spring.

I also love taking your jig pitching it against a cypress tree and letting your jig hit the bottom of the tree at the trunk where it goes to the water making a loud knock and then letting it slide down the tree under the water and I find when doing this it helps getting me a lot more bites , when it slides down it after that noise when u go to make your first hop or drag I always check first cause a lot of times she’s got it and the line is coming to the boat , another reason I love your jig

What about when there is heavy flooding, well above average years past. Will bass still spawn farther up bank in shallow water that would normally be dry land? Or do they mostly spawn in normal areas that would never dry up?? Lake by my house is crazy high flooded so much it lifted & moved the docks this past week. Now 2 docks are in other side of lake & water 5-6 feet up into grass, trees.

Thousands of anglers catch Thousands of big bass every week using Thousands (hundreds?) of different bait types, sizes, and colors. The reason anyone catches a bass is because they casted where the bass was and it was hungry enough to eat. It's that simple. Let's say you're Superman and you catch a bass on this exact setup - black and chartreuse jig with a blue chunk trailer. Take flight, reverse the Earth's rotation, and go back in time to when you casted. Cast again to the exact same spot except this time with a green pumpkin and white jig with a brown craw trailer. Does anyone honestly think the bass is not gonna hit the jig???

I keep seeing you talk about techniques that are secrets and special tips. Why don't you win anymore? Why a $10 jig? Why not show us instead of tell us? Maybe u should focus on new techniques and new less expensive baits. 40 years ago is just reliving your past not doing to good now. Consistently finishing outside the top 50 isn't impressive , especially when you're loosing to young guys with little experience. Please just retire already.
