If you loved the setting of Prince Edward Island (yes it is in Canada) then you have to read Anne of Green Gables the imagery and descriptions are gorgeous and you can even visit the house that Green Gables was inspired by

I read THE RAPPEARANCE OF RACHEL PRICE, I personally love mystery and crimes especially Holly Jackson. Even though I shouldn't have been reading this, since am young (11 yrs). Mark my words, it was the best plot twist ever! The whole explanation and events were all planned out. Well done Holly Jackson, this was definitely my favorite book ever!!
I’ve read all of Holly Jackson’s books and I agree, she is a great author for this type of genre and her writing style and twists are fabulous!

Re: crazy plots. I would probably outline it backwards. Like figure out where you wanted it to end, and also probably where you start, and then work backwards from the end. That way you can lay out where are all the breadcrumbs need to be and they look omniscient, but it’s really just cuz you know what needed to happen to get to the ending you wanted.

I absolutely love The Reappearance Of Rachel Price and all of Holly Jackson books. The plot twist had me gagged
I just read the Nightingale and it was so good! I’m now reading the Women by her also. Also really good! Im not normally into historical fiction but Kristin writes it in such a good way and shows how absolutely devastating war is, and it’s very sad, but good to see the types of events people had to go through.

I live on Prince Edward Island and was shocked when you said you read a book that took place here!! If you liked the atmosphere and setting I HIGHLY recommend Anne of Green Gables, it's technically a classic but it's an easy read and super atmospheric and takes place on PEI
