Yeah I think anywhere you go where there aren't a lot of tourists the locals will be super friendly to you. In places with mass tourism the locals are usually fed up with tourists and the ones that smile are smiling because they're charging double. 😁

Nearest thing you can do is walk around the fresh section of the supermarket sampling grapes. You'll probably get a few good handfuls before the staff ask you to stop. 😂

(don't give money & mobile phone giveaway). You certainly have a kind heart but we worry for your safety a lot! We would never get involved or too friendly with some of the young people as you do! You are asking for trouble my friend. So please be very careful in the future. My friend and I were living in the Hill Country of Sri Lanka for about 15 years and loved it very much, but mainly on health grounds we returned to the UK. Your video brought back so many happy memories. There is no doubt that Sri Lanka is a fantastic place to spend a holiday. Thank you Dale.

Hi Dale, we really enjoyed this particular video and was so disappointed when it finished so quickly. Unlike a couple of your videos where we were on the edge of our seat! (don't give money & mobile phone giveaway). You certainly have a kind heart but we worry for your safety a lot! We would never get involved or too friendly with some of the young people as you do! You are asking for trouble my friend. So please be very careful in the future. My friend and I were living in the Hill Country of Sri Lanka for about 15 years and loved it very much, but mainly on health grounds we returned to the UK. Your video brought back so many happy memories. There is no doubt that Sri Lanka is a fantastic place to spend a holiday. Thank you Dale.
