Both Family Councils and Residents’ Councils play a part in promoting a resident-centered home culture, and in enhancing the experiences of both residents and their family/friends. Successful collaboration between Residents’ Councils and Family Councils requires mutual respect founded on clear and efficient communication, established boundaries and a commitment to confidentiality.
