Type in vegan health outcomes on pubmed ( a scientific research data base) and you will be hard pressed to find a single source, that shows better health outcomes for omniverous diets than vegan counter part. Vegan options (Vegetarians still use animal products, moral arguments are completely hypocritical here) are insanely expensive if you want the correct nutrients and for it to also not taste like shit. The main distinction between farming and animal abuse is that farming has a real, incredibly beneficial use to humanity as it makes it much more easy to have affordable food that is nutritious and healthy. There’s a difference between the farming techniques used in slaughterhouses where the appropriate techniques are used and slowly clubbing a pig to death for the lulz. Factory farming is some fucked up shit, but if there is no affordable access to alternatives, then I see no issue with someone buying factory farmed meat. If someone can afford alternatives, such as vegan or pastorally farmed animals, but chooses to eat factory farmed regardless, then I’d agree that it’s an incredibly immoral action.

Your argument here is that meat is an unnecessary pleasure, the same way animal abuse is to those who engage in it. I agree with this to an extent, but I have a few issues with it. Vegan options (Vegetarians still use animal products, moral arguments are completely hypocritical here) are insanely expensive if you want the correct nutrients and for it to also not taste like shit. It’s not really a valid comparison as the reality is, most of the world can’t even afford it yet.
The main distinction between farming and animal abuse is that farming has a real, incredibly beneficial use to humanity as it makes it much more easy to have affordable food that is nutritious and healthy. The pleasure is in the result of the killing, the end product, the meat, whereas with animal abuse, the pleasure comes from the horrendous, unnecessary harm done to animals.
There’s a difference between the farming techniques used in slaughterhouses where the appropriate techniques are used and slowly clubbing a pig to death for the lulz. Factory farming is some fucked up shit, but if there is no affordable access to alternatives, then I see no issue with someone buying factory farmed meat. If someone can afford alternatives, such as vegan or pastorally farmed animals, but chooses to eat factory farmed regardless, then I’d agree that it’s an incredibly immoral action.

I think that's the Max guy's real voice. He's just talking softly which is supposed to be dramatic. I have a similar voice. I have to intentionally make my voice higher so people don't freak out.
