Having stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks at the end of Nov/Dec 2016 I decided to do a complete walk around of the hotel and grounds for others to see what it is like after its refurbishment. Video shows all the grounds, beach areas, restaurant, bars, spa, side sea view room and sea view room interiors.
The hotel is very nice, with good staff, food and drink. We had a great time staying here and would recommend it to others.
Some timings if you dont wish to watch it all:
2:20 - Entertainment area / Main restaurant exterior / Bar and Pool
2:51 - Poolside bar
5:27 - Culunarium restaurant and pool with bar
6:25 - Possible deluxe rooms / boutique section (old naming from previous hotel layout)
12:10 - Shop and gymnasium
15:10 - Tennis courts
15:38 - Kot Nou outside restaurant and street food concept
17:35 - Boathouse watersports hire
20:04 - Beach
20:10 - Spa
20:27 - Inside main restaurant
21:55 - Side sea view room interior
22:32 - Sea view room interior
Thank you for posting this video, again very helpful as you can see exactly what the resort has to offer. peace and quiet although we're off tomorrow 06-08-17 so might be a busier time, I shall follow your footsteps...

Very helpful video, thanks. I was just wondering, other than the views, did you notice a significant difference between the quality of the rooms? Wondering whether it is worth paying extra for a sea view if you get a nicer/ larger room to go with it.
Kim Jones hi Kim. Yes, we had a side sea view first and upgraded to a sea view in Block 1. Well well worth the money to upgrade.
The side sea view was nice, but the sea view rooms were bigger, more modern, and of course, you had the sea in front of you!
Some of the garden view rooms were ok but all were bottom floor, some facing the inner paths, some facing.... Well.... Not a lot to be honest so I would recommend those.
If I went back I would definately pay to get a sea view room in block 1 or 2. If I can help anymore, just ask . Thanks for watching
Oh and as for quality of the rooms. Yes, the sea view rooms were more modern, bigger and airy. I put a review on trip advisor back in December 2016 if you look for it there are a few photos on there.

Also, would you say Block 1 had the best sea view? I will try to contact he hotel in advance.
Kim Jones block 2 next to us had the more uninterrupted view as infront of us was a the small elevated section where they did yoga. Block 2 also has sea view rooms which open out onto the sand. Yes I would definately email the hotel and ask for a first floor room in block 1 or 2. 2 being first preference.
It's a lovely hotel, very relaxing and peaceful. I put another UA-cam video on here showing what we did in Mauritius , should find it if you click on my name on here. I definately recommend hiring a car!!
What time of day was this filmed? Is it always so quiet and peaceful??
Hi Ellice. Filmed it in the afternoon, prob about 2ish. Yes, it was always this quiet and peaceful, its like a retreat! No kids, no noise, just relaxation!!
Was looking at this after my Barbados holiday...dont seem much of a beach here
David Ellis yeah there isn't really. It's all man made and a fine grit rather than powder soft sand.
