- As a mom, your going to make mistakes. I mean, even if your not a mom we all make mistakes. However, thinking back I'm pretty certain this is my biggest mistake as a homemaker, mom and wife that I've made in the past 4 years. You'll see how this one thing impacted my entire life and not just mine, but that of my husband and my children. I encourage you to not make this same mistake, but if you did like I did, you can always learn from it. Grow from it. Improve your life.

So good! Momma of 3 here and have also had to learn this! Putting my identity in Christ and not motherhood helped so much with the mom guilt! You covered it all, balance is so key! I also think it’s great that they see me workout, read my Bible, and do house chores joyfully, many times I’ve seen them in their own time reading their Bible, and wanting to workout 🥹 love your videos ❤️
Yes yes yes! love how you said "joyfully" doing the chores. Your so right. They will see us doing them, but do they see us doing them joyfully? Oof so good! & Witnessing them doing those things is just the best for a mom to witness. Its like okay, some days are hard, and it seems like things aren't getting through to them, then one day you see them open their bible like you said - or pray on their own -and when they do things like that it makes you want to cry tears of joy like ok, I AM actually teaching them a lot, and its SO worth it, even on the hard days.

Timely video! I had this discussion with my husband just yesterday. For me it was specifically working out versus cleaning. I was defaulting to doing my cleaning chores because it will drive me crazy if I don't get it done but I was sacrificing my workouts to do that. I realized that the cleaning will bother me enough that if I work out that day I will still do the cleaning later just so it doesn't annoy me whereas I've often not completed workouts because I'm just not as motivated later. 😂

the bowl cover “was” so cute - I actually ended up returning it because it was too small for most of my bowls and a bit of a struggle to get on the bowls at times. It came with a bread bag that also didn’t work well at all 🥲 it was from Amazon. I am however about to checkout some new ones from ETSY and super excited about those coming 🤗

I've been clinging to God and surviving for...six years lol I just want to be the best mom but I need to get my priorities Biblically straight so we can all do better in God's design for our home. God bless you! 🥹 the goal is to thrive and not just “survive” in motherhood and sometimes we as moms get into the habit of just surviving by putting our needs on the absolute back burner and stuck in that cycle for far too long until we stop and think “umm I don’t think it’s supposed to be like this” 😅 but praise God for new days and new chances to change things.
I can’t imagine how tough your days must be at times. I will be praying for you and your family, for God to give you strength and peace and joy even in the struggles and help you do more than just survive the days, and to give you feelings of happiness only He can bring about, despite the trials and hurdles of life not many understand ❤️
