Awesome job so far, love the positive attitude Mike always has. "Let's get it done"
POR15 would be the paint to use!! Holds up to anything!!
Great job guys.
Cavity wax will be ur best friend before final assembly 🍻
Or have it sprayed yearly by an anti-rust shop.
Cheap insurance, usually under a 100$. I always had my cars treated and I never had any rust issues even afte 16 years.
You guys are amazing. Always smiling. Doing great works
Paint it that fluorescent yellow camaro color called shock !👍👌 perfect shop truck color I think.
I did a oil based enamel on the frame of my 29 Model T probably 6 years ago and it’s holding up great. If I wipe it down it seriously looks brand new.
You should check out lizard skin sound deadening and heat reducing spray for the cab. We did are bucket truck roof, floor and firewall. Amazingly quiet inside. Even with the Cummins clacking all day.
Thanks guys for the update on Silverado Painting the chassis. Nice work👍👍
What you remove from the old (donor) frame immediately install on the new one.... nothing gets lost, no confusion!
I love your videos and your build do it more car.
This shop truck is going to look great!
Guys you are moving along really good on the Silverado! Won't be long now and you'll be putting it back together!
You guys are way above anything I would attempt, way to go. Can’t wait until you get to the assembly stage when you bring it all together. Great set of videos, really appreciate, thanks 🙏.
Paint the frame with rustoleum gloss black with valspar hardener mixed in it drys fast and hard and keeps its gloss!
Out of curiosity... Do you guys ever have plans to lay some asphalt down each side of your shop?
We want to
I thought the same thing.
Great series!
I am sure the heat of the fire melted the paint/coating inside the frame rails and cross tubes on that frame...I would hit it heavy inside with Cavity Wax.
The best rebuild series on UA-cam at the moment, keep up the good work!
We appreciate it
Forshizzle
Wow. Looking good. Good luck
why can't you make 5 hour videos. I get super engaged with your work. Then bam the video is coming to a end.
I'm glad you guys have a vision, because there is just too much carnage for me to see one truck between the two of these hunks o junk.
Pintado chasis por encima de el óxido sin lijar 👏
Nice haircut Michael.
Muy bien BRO'S SALUDOS DESDE Honduras 🇭🇳excelente video 👍👍
Where is your skid steer loader use that to move things around with
You guys are fast! I wish I had your motivation! Keep up the good work and God bless
Looking good 😊
Eastwood sells rust inhibitor with a 3' long hose ,you could use to spy it in the frame. Heck they might even sponsor you
Great progress guys!
Great job guys greetings from Portugal
Unbelievable transformation in a short time Well Done 👍👏👏👏 Really interesting to watch. Looking forward to seeing the video, keep up the good work 👍👍👏👏
Nice keep em coming 👌
Doing well so far. I am hoping that you will put some Wax Oil on the parts that don't show, it is a very good product. Maybe best to get some paint on first then the Wax Oil. Thanks for the video Brothers. 👍
Just curious since we don't have any emissions test in SC have you guys considered def delete? It improves mileage and power with the right tune
How about minimising pollution?
@@peadargill7565 Talk to China about that
@@Morpheen999 That’s a separate conversation. Everyone has to play his/her part.
@@peadargill7565 No it isn't.. North America for its size is one of the lowest polluters on the planet..
You fix a problem by going to the source..
It won't matter what 30% of the world does if 70% of it never changes..
Stop being like everyone else and taking the easy road and start lobbying the worst polluters in the world to change their ways
@@peadargill7565 really? So the 4 to 5 million ozone polluting cars which have or more pollute far more than any diesel could please stop with the tree hugging sentiment. That fluid does nothing to stop diesel emissions it stops the exhaust from being black. And before you can say I don't know what I'm talking about I've been driving semis for 22 years now so I've been driving long before this crap was invented
Great report guys, it's going to look really good when is done. Good video take care thanks 😊
Muy buen trabajo los felicito saludos ricky de argentina me mandarian saludos me pondria muy feliz🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️👍👍👍💪💪💪
I’ve seen that rust oleum or just good ole tractor paint last forever when used on a frame, stuff is hard as a rock when cured.
A lot of work, great job
Wow you're Really going fast looks great 👍 I looking to buy a roll bar for a 1999 dodge Dakota pickup I looking for a used bar truck is kind old were do I look call junk yards no good let me know thx
Awesomeness Niko bros
Hi there we’re do you sell the cars and trucks you repair do you have a dealer ship or do you send them to auction
God Bless You Guys, nice work
Looking good so far keep it up
Very good work guys. But how many hours are you at currently with labor? I mean every single nut and bolt was removed, good project, great work done so far but very labor intensive.
You guys rock posting videos! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍
i would definatly put cavity wax inside frame rails and the cab and doors ....
You need to cavity wax or fish oil the inside of the frame and cavities in the cab otherwise it will rust from the inside out
@David Snowball - Absolutlely! It's amazing to me how many of these guys on youtube miss this step when cutting into a frame or welding panels. The only guy that ever does it consistantly is Arthur Tussik. Good catch.! 👍
What if they plan to flip it, and are only worried about the parts the new buyer can see?
It will be long gone before it rots out, why would they bother?
@@noname-nd8ec Their talking about the frame, aka inside the big metal beams under the cabin of the truck
With all of the sand blasting done on the cab do you detect any lingering smoke smell inside?
Lots of work just look at all the hose lines and putting back all the bolts in correct size dame.
Hi guys. make one video how you clean your yard!
I really hope that frame is going to be ok !!
You guys are amazing!
Brilliant top
I would of missed sealing the cab joints, undercoating will match after a couple of test drives down a gravel road. Yea Guys! Doing great so far.
I would remove the rest of the nox coating on front half of frame. Nox coating does not hold up and will rust quickly. Perfect opportunity to make that frame not rust like all gm trucks.
Never any half measures way yous brothers
Chassis is looking A1 condition and it’s all well documented for the record and definitely it’s gony be 2022 model proud of yous and see 911 is the dogs balls the black to finish it off just makes it pop guys
Just love your content guys.
Love boro form paksatin 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰❤️❤️
I'm lost, why pull the bad cab off the bad frame?
Impressive
ahaha i think youre rebuilding the white truck..not the black one..cause youre using all parts on the white truck..but upgrading its internals using the black one..but non the less its same..whether the black or the white..its almost the same..but different specs..ahaha hope that roof arrive so you can paint the cab..nice
You guys ned a 4wheeler/quad bike to help with heavy moving
While you were painting the frame, I think your cameraperson forgot to turn on the image stabilization. LOL
The focus for coatings on frames should be on the bottom. No one will ever see top side of da frame. I've always spent more time on da bottom. It needs da most protection. I flip framer over so I don't have to all but lay on my back to do a poor job. Better yet, Powder Coat.
Respect.
Wow …. 😮
Aye lovet byutifol djob
Por15 does not like moisture. Best to use it when no moisture/humiduty.
Don’t forget the cavity wax
Great video, ya’ll should give it a 8” lift..
Or 12 " lol
Seam sealer? Oh, Home Depot calls that CAULKING.
!
You guys never cease to confuse me! Why did you paint over rust on the frame!? Should've used P.O.R 15, it's black, and it's a 1 coat use... maybe 2 coats if you want
I think I seen the can of P.O.R. 15 sitting on the frame rail, pretty sure that’s what they used.
Don't forget the bottom of the frame!!!
You got a haircut!
✌️
Wassup
Rubberized undercoating is terrible stuff. Traps moisture. Love your videos!
Rhino liner on frame
대대적으로 주변정리 청소,바닥 아스팔트 공사 하면 깨끗할거 같아요.

Anti rust 😳
👏👏👊👊👍👍🙏🙏
🥰🇬🇭💯✌️💙
Guys, change the garage door. It's scary to look at them.
hold the dam camer still
I know your trying to save money , but why don’t you just paint the hole frame .
Video quality is a let down ...otherwise a good vid
Video was much too shaky.
Advice guys! When doing sped up footage, PLEASE have the camera man hold the camera steady. I'm getting motion sickness try to watch that frame get sprayed.
This looks like a job that is rushed and without any realism, painting over rust does not mean it’s not there…the rust wil spread under de coating and there where the factory paint bath dip covered the rails also inside with paint this has been burned off you can’t fix that with a spray gun. I am very curious how this truck will endure the next two years with winter / water and salt onder the roads. I think it will rust from every nook and cranny. I hope you will never sell this truck to the public, it’s a complete waste of time right now, do it right or leave it and sell the bits.
Just like on television it looks good from far but far from good if you get up closer. Quality takes time and the proper tools and way of working.
Another eposode of how not to paint your car.
If the metal has burn damage he’s not longer solid it’s piece of shit
painting over a rusted frame is not smart
I'm pretty sure there's a reason why car manufacturers don't burn their frames before assembly....
don't be surpliced when that frame snaps in half because the metal Is compromised
the rust on the body and the frame...will return....just a matter of time....
