- Welcome back to another video from Heavy Mining Equipment. After 17 years of service, continuous operation, and excavation of millions of tons of material, this Terex RH120 excavator is ready for retirement. But not the kind of retirement we all wish for Sadly, it will be cut into pieces at the scrapyard. The company no longer found it economical to maintain and decided to dismantle it. Do you think this veteran deserves second chance? Write your thoughts in the comments.

The old girl would look good on the front lawn of a BIG building, nice paint job and a flower bed :)
In Ohio near McConnellsville is the bucket only from the big Muskie drag line . only thing left of it but very impressive needless to say.
This old lady looks tired.
Spray paint white wood make an awesome lawn ornament .Now the moving that thing & disassembey & reassembley well ...better leave it as mine art .😂
Well done video. He took us on a tour of that Terex front shovel. That's a tired machine, for sure. It got a lot of use, but it sure had a rough life. Like all things, though, it came, it worked, made money for its owner, now it's just about gone, waiting for its ultimate fate with the cutting torch.
Thank's for the comment, sad story bro, i feel sorry for this old lady 😥
Cool video 👍
Thanks
Machine skills working at the mine site ...Excellent Very exciting and interesting ...Always successful friend ...Good luck 🇮🇩🚜🛻💗🌸🌼👍👍
Thanks for the comment mate, thank you.
What a Majestic Creation!
Too bad, so sad 😥
What a beast! Must have really been something when she was operational.
I'm so sad that they're going to cut it up and melt it down.
Thought you got it going…??? Then the dump truck drove past…..😆😆😆😂😂💨👍
Hahah 🤣🤣
nice shot
Thank's mate
Video o montaži ovog bagera možete pogledati na you tube :Ulaganje u budućnost(2007)površinski kop veliki krivelj rtb-a Bor.
Znam druze, bas sam gledao skoro. Lep bager bese, beo, cist kao suza 😀
I think it should have a second chance, someone out there could still use it
I think the same, but the company lacks understanding.
Can you say a ballpark on how much money made in it’s 17 years?
Is it just gonna get burried when the mine is abandonned or is it really gonna get hauled out and dismanteled?
Since this is a copper and gold mine, millions of tons of copper and gold ore have been excavated, earning tens of millions of euros. Unfortunately, it will be dismanteled for free.
Rust in piece.
Wow…. Sad to see! Almost seems disrespectful to such an iconic machine ☹️
Yeah, i know. Sad story for this old lady
Hopefully someone will teach you how not to film half zoomed in... As im quite sure your phone has a wider angle that would have shown more details of that hard worked electric shovel...
Yeah its a bsckup which is on its last legs 😂
Odslužio svoje i otišao u penziju
Bas tako, u staro gvozdje.
Looks like it catched fire ? 17 years is not nat bad tbh
In 17 years of service, he had been burned in a fire, buried in mudslides, submerged in water, and all kind of other things.
What happened to it looks like it caught on fire or something
It has been through a lot, from catching on fire to being submerged in mudslides.
That’s just years of exhaust dirt and stuff like that
@@floydwilliams3321 That's an electric excavator, it doesn't have an exhaust.
How many hours does it have on it?
Around 88k
@@HeavyMiningEquipmentEven if someone wanted to use that as an lawn ornament the cost of disassembly transportation & reassembley ,better leave it where it is as mine art .😂
Or as a public toilet 🤣
Thats a disgrace of a machine, tight barsteds
Totally agree with you.
