I loved this! This is different from all the other videos out there. Hawaii did provide some great backdrop for some awesome movies! As corny "50 First Dates" is, it'll always be a favorite of mine!
I would have included: "Beyond Paradise" (is a Big Island cult classic film), "Moana" "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" and "Race The Sun" (Halle Berry and James Belushi)...
I didn't know they made The Descendants into a movie... ya learn something new every day! I used to get all homesick watching 1980s/1990s Vietnam movies because the jungle reminded me so much of the jungle in Hawaii I grew up running around in.
Someone beat me to it but the North Shore. Like what was said its clunky and very 80's, It touches on what a Howli is and why that term is important to the the locals.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is also my favorite, I always say "I just went six to midnight" to my friends. What did you think of Aloha (2015) with Emma Stone?

50 First Dates; I would have added "North Shore" from the 1980's, not the TV show (by Fox, I think)..; "The Descendants" soundtrack is filled with Hawaiian music (either the slack key and/or steel/slide guitar classics, by people like Gabby "Pops" Pahinui, Dennis Pavao, Keola Beamer, Makaha Sons (of Ni'ihau), and Ray Kane).
I love Oahu, Hawaii...if you have a money Honolulu is the best place IMO.... you want busy city life you have that you want green nature you have that you want one of world best beaches you have that...
