I was going to buy a pair of B&W 607s, but, instead, bought a pair of 606s because of your review. I’m so glad I did. Thank you! They’re part of my garage audio system now and are powered by a restored vintage Yamaha CR-820 (55 watts per channel, 20-20,000 @ 8ohms). They are simply the best speakers I have ever owned. Their clarity is astounding! Only problem is, because the police station is one city block away, I can’t turn them up as loud as I would like to. Lol TY!
Excellent review! Best Buy has these on sale right now. Gonna get a pair of the floor standing version (and perhaps the center) tomorrow. Can't wait to get the home!
Great review. I have decided to upgrade my 19 yr old B&W 601 S2 and am looking at either the 607 or slightly bigger 606 anniversary speakers. Which one would suggest to go with my Marantz 6005 cd and amp? I have a medium sized room. Cheers Nick (UK)
Hi! I am considering the 606, though my room is smallish. I don't want to be overwhelmed with bass. Should I be looking at anything else in this price range or a tad less? Thank you!
Thank you, we have since redone the display, from what we remember in looking there is an Earl Klugh, ZZ Top, a Nylons, an old Chesky Fritz Reiner. Thanks for watching!
You would need a small amp for any of these, something like this would work well www.audioadvice.com/audioengine-n22-desktop-audio-amplifier. Or they do have another line called Formation. If your computer has Bluetooth, you could use these, they are self powered and you can pair two for a stereo pair www.audioadvice.com/bowers-wilkins-formation-flex-compact-mono-speaker Thanks for watching
Great question. There are a lot of good choices. Please reach out to us at www.audioadvice.com so we can get more information about your room and recommend the best home theater receiver for you. Thank you for watching
Hi, we have quite a few great options but they depend on what sources you are using, room sizes and taste. Go to our website (www.audioadvice.com) and click the chat icon, our specialists would be happy to pick the best setup for you!
It would depend on how large your room is and your listening habbits. The 607s have a sensativity around 84 db which means they would really come to life with a bit more power. The Cambridge Audio AXR85 would be a better match for the 607s in most rooms.
More would be better, but depending on the size of your room, listening distance, and how loud you play, it should be fine since these are relatively efficient speakers.
I own a Marantz PM-8000 (Class A Mode with 25W/8Ohm per Channel). It is enough. In Class AB Mode with 95W/8Ohm it only has slitly more Base than before. I can recommend you the 606.
What's your go-to track when you demo new speakers?
Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4
Christina Aguilera - Genie in a bottle
Livin' on a prayer!
@@taylorrasmus1905 nice!
anything Adele!
Great video, awesome work on the commentary. Bowers and Wilkins keeps putting out great products.
Thank you!!!

Do they make speakers I can just connect to my PC? I was blown away by my friends speakers and I want the same!

quick question, can i use them for making hip hop, trap music?
I found them in my grandma garage and i can't buy some speakers, could i use them?
Name of background song please??
Would anyone recommend the 606 or the Klipsch rp600m? If money isn't an issue?
Want a over the top live perfomance? Rp600m. Want an exciting sound with more natural sound? 606.
I decided for the 606 because of IT has the better build crossover.
I own them both. The 606 sounds better, looks better, and has a smaller profile.
Would the 600 series be a good match for the Marantz PM7000N.
Very warm sound, but really nice one at that…I run 606 s2 through a PM6007….love it
I am planning to buy the 606 with the centre speaker , what is a good reciever to go with that combination ? I’m going to use it a lot for movies.

@3.52 you confuse 607 with 606
Anyone has some feedback on the htm 6?
Are the 607 a good pair for a Cambridge Audio AX35?

So are you talking about the Bowers & Wilkins DM603 S3 Speakers? Are they the 600 series your talking about?
aI want you beatles Abbey road.
This is 703 s2
These are the 600 series. Visit us at audioadvice.com do discuss the differences in the 600 and 700 series.
Give them solid 200hrs pf break in and these will be far above its price class.
Weak in-depth-look at the tweeters!
Hi, I have a Denon PMA 655r integrated amplifier (50w per channel, 8 ohm), do you think it can drive the b&w 606 properly?
