I called 8 or more local repair shops in my area of north Florida and only got 1 that said they would even attempt this repair for $95. I came across your video and was able to make this repair myself. Thank you very much!
In the case that the ear piece flex cable was damaged during disassembly, is there any possible way face ID could ever be made to work again? I am assuming not and just have an aftermarket ear piece+proximity sensor assembly in there now with no face ID. Sure is annoying due to the lack of a fingerprint sensor on the 11 pro max. Could the old sensors be transferred to the new flex cable?
There is an earpiece mode for the i2c i6 programmer. Can you just copy the code from the original and put the original code on the replacement instead of soldering?
hi I have this problem with my iPhone 11 Pro Max. My earspeaker is not working. I want to get it fix but at the same time, I want my Face ID to still work. Do you do this kind of service? If so, do I mail you my phone ear speaker? I know how to take it out from my phone

I would highly recommend using a microscope for this. Maybe you can get away with a magnifying glass. But that's up to you & how confident you are in your abilities to solder

So I ended up changing the speaker on my iPhone 12 pro max and everything was successful. Here I am the next day and I'm having some severe battery drain issues. Can this be caused by only changing the speaker? I'm a little puzzled as to what could be causing battery drain. Thanks
I need help to strange situation in iPhone 11. There is problem with ear speaker. Phone was hit on ground.. so I replace to used but original lcd. When I talk I hear sound, but this is low. So I clean net.. but this was clean.. and I replace new speaker with face id and etc.. and swap this all without soldering.. but audio is still the same. I check in options audio settings and I make this options off and on without result. What may happend ? :/
hey I have one big problem. I just disassembled my iPhone X and peeled the tape which hides the soldering points. Before replacing the earpiece, I cut an old aux cable and attached the positive and negative wires to the speaker. In fact I could perfectly hear the music which was playing on my Mac through the iPhone speaker. So it is definitively working well. There are also no visible damages on the whole speaker flex. As you have mentioned the Face ID involvement, Im aware that I can't replace the flex itself. What would you suggest? regards
Congrats on successfully swapping out the speaker! Perhaps you kept your soldering on there for too long? With enough flux & solder on the tip of your iron, it should super quick to solder on.

What wire are you referring to?
Soldering wire
No, any soldering wire should work. I recommend using Kester 63/37 0.8mm Solder Wire: amzn.to/365b7AA
