21 22 23 That's when you realise. Nothing changed. It's all the same. You spent so long saving for a new phone just to realise, its the same damn thing. You spend each year slaving away in a job, finding somewhere new to work perhaps, all so you can just barely make it to your birthday, Christmas and if you're lucky a vacation. And the moment passes. 10 seconds of your million minute life. Over and over. Society pressuring you, nothing ever changes, all you can do is sit in silence as you desperately try to escape the cycle before being silence but society and its social expectations.....
the disturbing part is the fact they're captive, probably having their legs either tied, not working, or just gone. they have a mask forcefully strapped to their face
The man is bound there, locked away and every year on his birthday that number goes up one to record his age, he realizes where he is and what's happening, so he panics and is neutralized
this is the same logic as the class of epileptic kids is having a dance party bc i kept flicking the lights on and off or the same logic as ‘i have a really fast car bc its falling off a cliff’
I feel like it could be a more literal version of eateot where the music isnt just the mood, it truly represents the memories slowly burning in the background as the protagonist struggles to cling on to whats left of their memories all the while trying to fight back the disease itself knowing damn well that their attempt is futile
I feel like some people forget (no pun intended) that eateot is more aiming towards the feeling and thoughts of an elderly person with dementia. While Eateot does has disturbing music, it could be trying to aim towards a bad memory, as apposed to directly trying to make the listener feel unnerved like AEBBTW or EAEB
Its pretty creepy how the music '' Libet's delay '' shows in this video about how once you grow older everything gets harder and you don't know what to do
It's been one year but here's me thoughts: The person is celebrating their 23rd birthday, however, they know when they are going to die, they are one year closer to death. All of his friends, except for one (the yellow man in the corner). Knowing that he will die soon, the man becomes distressed. So the shadowed people come to get him to bring him to his next birthday. This is probably incorrect, but I can never be sure.
@@ivancasasbayo2530 It couldn’t be. The Caretaker music was just there to add an ominous tone, and I would think people with dementia are way calmer than the white character in this video.

Thats what im thinking...I'm thinking someone is trapped in that thing and I think they put him to sleep for a whole year until its his birthday, and the yellow dude, im not sure what is with his case but he doesn't look evil
Plot twist: The guy was actually happy about his birthday, and the shadows just gave him a hug to calm him down. At the end he was happily eating his cake.
What I see in this short is a story with details you really need to look into to understand. It could be something different entirely but here’s my theory That clock, moves fast.. as does life, the people around the table are family. Some pass on as life continues thats why 2 have sadly gone limp, the pink dancing man represents how entertainment can distract us momentarily and give us temporary happiness, the painting represents how every job or day can feel the same if you follow a specific routine or work a 9-5, the person in the corner represents our friends, sometimes distance can grow in friendships because you haven’t seen them for such a long time, they can try to reach out and sometimes we wont be able to reach back, or real life can pull you away from them, which brings me to the shadow people. The shadow people represent Work and Responsibility, as well as stress which consumes us sometimes, leaving us in a distressed state of mind until our next happy moment, If this short is about the Fleeting nature of life? Then you sir have conveyed it perfectly! I applaud you 👏
my guess is that this person is the youngest person to be diagnosed with dementia (23) in a retirement home type place, which is why people are motionless because they are sleeping, but he thinks there dead. the shadow people are just fuzzy memories of people they used to know and are trying to calm him down
Ngl, kinda reminds me of that scene In “the restaurant at the end of the universe” where a bunch of people were stuck on a plane, their conscious only revived for periodic struggle

Hi, it is me! The guy five month later with an answer! The video is referring to the guy who 4 years ago was the youngest Alzehimer's Patient, who was diagnosed at 23. At least, that's my theory
@@DF-wn1dgI thought lil silly goober was screaming in pain due to the shadow people coming to silence him every year and the reason why he is doing what hes doing in the video is because it might be the last time before he completely snaps or maybe dies. you can die from breakdowns right?
White dude: WHY CAN'T YOU GIVE ME THE CAKE. Yellow dude: Man, my brother is angry for cake. Pink dude: Don't talk about me! I just punched them to heaven! Shadows/parents: BRO WE AINT CELEBRATING YOUR BIRTHDAY, JUST GIVE US A HUG BIRTYDAY.
i feel like it’s a home for the elderly or the mentally unwell that’s been wildly contorted into this awful setting along with it being his 23rd birthday maybe every year he gains awareness for a minute and realizes he is falling into this hole of contorted visuals, with someone else saying he is a dementia patient i don’t doubt it the way the screams are muffled, the way the punches aren’t directed at anybody but the self anger within, the way they don’t try to escape and just become frustrated with the fact of their descending existence and the unfairness of it, especially at his age, he is then calmed by staff and possibly taken to calm down or sedate
My theory is that this video is about the youngest person to ever get dementia, which was 23. Obviously when he turns 23 he seems to have his whole life ahead of him, but the reason he is angry is either because he recognizes the fact is youth is slipping away faster or that is a depressive bout about diagnosis. The other smileys in the room are is different sides of consciousness, unphased as the first spot of the brain becomes corrupt. The static figures represent the embodiment of plaques and the being that is dementia entering the brain and beginning to attack the smiley, a side of the consciousness. And as everything returns to normal, I think this represents a moment of pure, not foggy clarity as his slow decent seems over. But it isn’t. It’s probably not true, but I like to think it is. After all, it is just a theory, A GAME THEORY, well, yt shorts theory, but either way eh. PS: Also, the music that begins playing is from an Empty Bliss Beyond This World by the Caretaker, the creator of Everywhere of the End of Time. Which further suggests the idea of memory loss and dementia as his music basically represents it. Its sampled Hal Kemp’s song although I forgot the name of the sample. PSS: the song is called this is romance
The moment of clarity your talking about is something that actually happens to some people with memory deteriorating mental Illnesses. Unfortunately, it’s a grim sign irl. Everyone that this happens to ends up dying soon after
Soon as you mentioned it was caretaker i was like ah fuck - it IS It's the song about dementia Fuck Also I'm turning 23 and am more forgetful everyday qwq don't I don't need this fear
What's the freaking odd. Was listening to "Libet's delay" by The Caretaker and this popped up. The two audio overlayed on each other really scares me for a sec... But hey, now I found this great obscured channel, thank you.
@@wizardbrick2541 honestly, i think the video shows a person who doesn't want to grow up, the dancing figure represent the things he used to lpve as a kid, the shadow figures taking him probably means all the work he has to do, making it impossible tp go back, this video was made 1 year ago, the caretaker's music wasn't that know at the time, so this is probably a coincidende

The fact that he’s using music from an empty bliss beyond this world to accommodate this makes it deeply disturbing
The caretaker music in the background really adds to the creepy factor doesnt it

Here's a sad fact (and there's another comment stating thid fact)
-The youngest known dementia patient was diagnosed at the age 23.
And let's not even talk about Childhood Alzheimer's. That broke ny heart.
@@starlenestilltouringyoutub2116 This has nothing to do with Alzheimer’s
It's been one year but here's me thoughts:
The person is celebrating their 23rd birthday, however, they know when they are going to die, they are one year closer to death. All of his friends, except for one (the yellow man in the corner). Knowing that he will die soon, the man becomes distressed. So the shadowed people come to get him to bring him to his next birthday.
This is probably incorrect, but I can never be sure.
Emmm I think it's just a reference about the youngest man with dementia ( 23 years old )
@@ivancasasbayo2530 It couldn’t be. The Caretaker music was just there to add an ominous tone, and I would think people with dementia are way calmer than the white character in this video.

What I see in this short is a story with details you really need to look into to understand.
It could be something different entirely but here’s my theory
That clock, moves fast.. as does life, the people around the table are family.
I applaud you 👏
I'm 20 and I'm currently having the exact same feelings of a midlife crisis. This scares me about my future...
I ain’ readin all dat
@@SpaceJockie then u suck.

😢
my guess is that this person is the youngest person to be diagnosed with dementia (23) in a retirement home type place, which is why people are motionless because they are sleeping, but he thinks there dead. the shadow people are just fuzzy memories of people they used to know and are trying to calm him down
🤔

if Andy doesnt give an explanation to all of these videos im going to have a mental breakdown

Shadows/parents: BRO WE AINT CELEBRATING YOUR BIRTHDAY, JUST GIVE US A HUG BIRTYDAY.
23 years, only waking up to realize the perpetuation of your suffering
i feel like it’s a home for the elderly or the mentally unwell that’s been wildly contorted into this awful setting along with it being his 23rd birthday maybe every year he gains awareness for a minute and realizes he is falling into this hole of contorted visuals, with someone else saying he is a dementia patient i don’t doubt it the way the screams are muffled, the way the punches aren’t directed at anybody but the self anger within, the way they don’t try to escape and just become frustrated with the fact of their descending existence and the unfairness of it, especially at his age, he is then calmed by staff and possibly taken to calm down or sedate
thanks! I'm not gonna sleep. ever.
Never knew barack obama does philosophy
