love how u make that metronome groove my guy
Thank you so much!
hey tomo! Great playing! it makes me sad because my parents had to sell off my guitar that they gave me as a gift, since we are facing financially struggling. It was a fender strat, and its my only guitar. I love playing guitar, and you inspire me so much to keep playing. I’m watching all of your videos to learn more about the instrument, along with music itself, despite not having a guitar. I wish I was able to afford one, but things happen. Thank you for being such an inspiration!
Thank for sharing! I had one really terrible time in my life.. I had to sell my amp to pay for my rent. We all have this tough time once or more. Thank you so much! I hope I can give more positive feeling to everyone!
I would rather sell my phone than my guitar :(
Loved your bessie's blues improvisation to play on the guiter. thanks for the lesson.
Glad you liked it!
Hi tomo, I am a student who is taking the guitar entrance exam in Korea. Your video is really helpful.
Currently, I am self-taught Just funky. Thank you so much.
So great to hear that! More detail lessons are at my Guitar Wisdom. You're welcome!
I am learning this when I I get home! This is fantastic!
Have fun!
Whenever I see a tomo video, I instantly have go pick up my guitar… it’s a requirement😂… great video thanks tomo!
So great to hear that. Thank you so much!
I LOVE IT TOMO!!! GETTING THE GROOVE ON!!
Thank you!
That's some great playing Tomo. I really like the way you play those great leads.
Thank you very much!
Beautiful tune
Thank you!
Very nice, Tomo, I really enjoyed hearing this improv. You've inspired me to pick-up my PRS electric guitar and play some blues.👍👍👍
Great to hear! Thank you so much!
@@TomoFujitaMusic Just played John Lee Hooker's Boom Boom Boom. It's pretty simple, but it's potent. Throw some improv from a blues scale, and you have something.
Tomo, we can set our clocks to your percussion guy! ;) Thanks for the upload.
60 ... on 2 & 4... good happy tempo!
Bessies blues from Tomo Tomo. Great job Tomo.
Thanks for listening
すばらしいです。メトロノームがスウィングしてるように聞こえました。
ありがとうございます!とってもうれしいです!
I was just learning Misty from this nice lesson by Sandra Sherman the other day. Looking to up my Jazz game with some Guitar Wisdom. Very timely 👏
Thanks for sharing! More Jazz Standard songs are adding to my Guitar Wisdom.
WOW GREAT
Thank you!
Lovely 🌹
Thank you! 😊
Tomo, are these jazzy Bb / Eb (just like yesterdays tune, Joe Pass style) maybe originally composed partially for horns to play natural C in their concert pitch. Like you know, Duke, Ella, Bassie, old school pros with big bands. There are so many that are Bb it seems, from that era. Thanks, excellent lesson again.
Many Jazz Tunes are written in Bb or F. Joe Pass plays blues in G.
Thank you so much! This song is in Eb! Perfect song not play above 11th fret!
nice droping surf bluesing waves babe, cool 😎
Thank you!
Nice!
Thanks!
I like how you dance around the metronome. You’re keeping time and it’s struggling to keep up with you.
Thank you so much! Try this.
1) Set a metronome at 80... accent on every beats
2) Set a metronome at 40... accent on 2 & 4 beats.
@@TomoFujitaMusic Thank you Tomo, I’ll practice those with my metronome. Amazing improv by the way
Happy new year🎉🎊🎇
Any Indian student learning guitar in your guitar wisdom sir
Yes!
Nice mate!
Is the guitar a 330?
I cdnt see the bridge.
Thank you! 1960 Gibson ES-330T
still having problems with getting started with the off-beat of the metronome , , geeezz , , once i get it no problem , , it's just getting started : )
Try at 80-100 every beats
Then at 40-50 on 2 & 4 beats.
So you hear the click on 2nd & 4th beats only.
What guitar is that? Looks sweet.
1960 Gibson ES-330T (I bought it at Norm's Rare Guitars)
Thanks
Sweeeeet
Thanks!
What is the time signature with the metronome?
4/4... You hear a metronome on 2 & 4!
The rhythm sounds like Up From The Skies by Jimi Hendrix.
Thank you! R 3 7 Swing! Popular back then!
Tomo… Don’t forget to play the melody LOL
Thank you! On purpose I don't play the melody on these videos!
Hendrix ripped this progression as well...
Everyone!
Everything you play sounds exactly the same
Thank you so much! My picking & relaxed left hand...makes this tone!
