It's great to see people opening up! I am 48, and weigh about 10 lb more than I did 20 years ago (now 135-140lb, i'm 5'4), and I am much happier with my body now than when I was 20 years ago. I have kids and a full time desk job, and working out regularly is what keeps my sanity and keeps me going!

My spirit has been so weak lately, and I desire and crave more of God and more of what He wants for me. I haven't felt the best lately, but because I have such a positive attitude - and I work in customer service (for now) so many people remind me daily of my light, and I ask God, "how am I able to bless others in such a way, but I feel like I'm failing myself?". I've gone through my own entrepreneurial transition this year, similar to the studio space, and im going through alot professionally, but I know God is able. I'm so thankful for these blogs because sometimes it is the only way I am able to smile that day. I feel like I'm not alone in how I feel, and I just wanted to affirm you that you are a BLESSING. Thank you for always being vulnerable and sharing your light with us. It makes a real difference.

I totally understand how u feel about moving out your studio. It’s not about failure because you only fail if you don’t try it’s more so about starting something and really not being able to see it through and having to stop “as we think” prematurely”. I got my real estate license last Nov and the first of the year quit my job to focus solely on that but quickly realized It wasn’t as easy as I presumed which in turn caused me then to slowly started drifting from it and now back seeking the corporate route. I used to feel disappointed in myself for making such a bold decision and not even make a true effort (or even thoroughly plan it out) but now I am giving myself grace because I now realized that I wasn’t moving out of God will I was eager to do what I thought would give me financial stability. So now I pray that God will be done! (Thanks for listening) 🫠

definitely go to doctor have test to see about headaches reoccurring like that can be warning signs of internal issues but definitely wanna rule it out as nothing hopefully you find you're sweet spot in life where you're content 😊
Hi Jae I mentioned this before for your headaches, but you probably missed the comment. Try adding Celtic sea salt in your water. You may be depleting your electrolytes when working out. Salt water re hydrates and replenishes our electrolytes. I know because I used to have this problem. Let me know if you want a picture of the one I use and I can dm you on IG. For headaches (I used to suffer with migraines really bad)… look into your magnesium levels, as well as overall inflammation. Magnesium glycinate is what I currently take and was recommended by my doctor. I also take a turmeric supplement daily. I may have a headache every 2 weeks and no longer have migraines. Also, look into how you’re sleeping .. pillows you’re using … mattress pad… all have helped me. Hope you feel better 😊
I’ve lost over 135 pounds naturally, since April 2022 & I just ate a Starbucks bacon egg bite & I still drink caramel macchiato’s. I just don’t get Venti, depending on my caloric intake for that day, I get tall or grande. I get it with non-fat milk & sugar free vanilla (skinny) & it’s still good. Sis, I make it work! 😁 I’m so glad to hear that you’re working on the intrusive thoughts because that is nothing but the enemy & we know that he’s a liar! “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Girl my stomach has been hurting as well , i am doing a black walnut cleansing , and also a lot of foods have “ natural flavoring” and i think that’s been making me sick it’s in ALOT of foods and can derive from animal waste and a host of other things

My thing is, I trust God and accept His will over my life. But I’m the type of person that needs Him to pluck me in the back of the head to let me know it’s Him just for clarity even when I feel it is 🤣😂 I’m trying to let go of the self doubting second guessing spirit.
Not sure about anyone else, but I struggle with knowing if it’s really God I’m hearing from or me just trying to convince myself. Lord help me hear you clearly 🙌🏽.
Peace y’all hope this helps the more you spend time in his presence just you and the Lord you learn how he speaks to you. But from my experience here are some key points: 1. His “ voice “usually sounds like you but the thoughts are different from what you normally think about. Ex: a thought that makes you say I never thought about that before but remember whatever is good and true is Him. 2. A lot of the times his voice sounds like telling you to do the thing your flesh doesn’t want to for me I learned that’s def Him speaking to me bc I would never tell myself to do this hard thing.3. When I’m really not sure I always ask for him to confirm make it clear with the expectation that he will. The word says to ask for wisdom and if you don’t doubt you will receive it. James 1.

28:46 Body dysmorphia is nothing to be ashamed of as it is more common than you think. I've dealt with it as well, especially in college. I've been able to manage it better by God's grace, but every now and again intrusive thoughts will surface. The way I've been able to overcome those thoughts in the moment is to vocalize parts of me that I'm grateful for. E.g. "Im thankful that my eyes are allowing me to see today. I'm thankful that my legs are helping me walk and stay upright." Its not an overnight change, but baby steps help!🤎🤎

Definitely try magnesium supplements! Helped me manage my migraines. I also take a break from drinking coffee everyday to avoid withdrawal headaches.
