I think Norse Kratos could utterly annihilate Greek Kratos. While Greek Kratos's magic and armaments massively amp his power, his Norse version has reached that level with his own power. His rage is now focused, his skills honed with time. Not to mention that going by feats Norse Kratos outperforms himself multiple times throughout 4 and Ragnarok, and in GOW lore gods get stronger the older they get

Norse kratos only beats greek kratos if he doesn't hold back. A holding back norse kratos can barely beat magni and modi.

I'll have to go with Greek Kratos. He's more aggressive, more likely to go all out, better weapons, and he's got near-unlimted stamina. Norse kratos may be wiser, but containing his anger on a constant basis drains him physically and he struggles with Gods far weaker than the Greek games. Yeah, Barlog said Norse Kratos is physically stronger, but that doesn't mean a thing when he refuses to use that power. If Norse Kratos had to fight Greek Kratos, holding back like he did with Thor and Baldur will get him killed, because Greek Kratos is too powerful and blood thirsty to be taken lightly. If Norse Kratos did decide to go all out, he'll revert back to who he was, and we'll pretty much have 2 Greek Kratos' fighting each other. I'm giving the Win to the OG Kratos.

I doubt he’d refuse to hold that power back against his younger self if he threatened to bring that power back against the Norse gods he was supposedly “holding” back on. He’d know himself back then better than he would know himself now. Truth be told, anyone who argues “Greek Kratos would win” and ignores statements said BY THE MAN IN CHARGE practically, is sadly coping. Angry and bloodthirsty Kratos is gone, accept it and move on. Stop trying to argue with dumb “points”.
Norse Kratos is wiser AND physically stronger alongside far more skilled, Greek Kratos as we saw got by on luck most of the time. Poseidon should’ve had them cheeks clapped, let alone Zeus, which he did tbh.😂

    Old Kratos is confirmed Stronger.
Greek Gods get stronger as they age (Kinda like in Marvel with the Norse gods, an example is an episode in an Avengers series where Thanos has the Gauntlet with the stones, and ages everyone to death EXCEPT THOR since his lifespan is MUCH MUCH longer than everyone elses, and also explains himself by telling Thanos that Norse gods get more powerful as they get older, and then he overpowers the Gauntlet) pretty sure its Avengers Assemble, just type in "Old Thor vs Thanos" into youtube, should be the first video

The devs said Kratos gets stronger as time passes so canonically Kratos is stronger than he ever was but I would like to say that isn't the reason why he would win. Kratos has came Along way from the person we once knew and Kratos seeing his past self would actually try to talk to him rather than slay. Most people don't know now that Kratos only fights now if he has to. Even with the power of hope. He didn't lose it. Hope isn't a physical thing. It's a thought and a will which Kratos still has.

This is crazy downplay against Greek Kratos.
First of all, all of his equipment were destroyed by Fear Zeus (who was a literal concept). Norse Kratos, nor any god in Norse doesn’t possess any power close to that.
Leviathan Axe would’ve been a low tier weapon in Greece. In the GoW 2018 novelization, it’s suggested that the BoC are stronger than the Leviathan Axe. The BoC is low tier in Greece. It’s stated in the GoW 1 novelization that even the Blade of Artemis are stronger than them.
Norse Kratos’s strength is nothing compared to Greek Kratos’s strength. Greek Kratos possesses Hades’s Soul (which is amped with Atlas’s strength).
The only two things Norse Kratos has over his Greek counterpart is IQ and self control.

But I remember there’s a fear Kratos boss fight in the game called “fear itself” which does makes sense since this is how Kratos should’ve been if the evils took over his body. And why did you only watch it? Why didn’t you play it? In fact Play all the god of war games

      2) Do not use real life greek mythology to scale or apply it to gow. That's not How scaling work bcoz there is no kratos, son of zeus, in greek myth; there's no typhon who beat and imprisoned zeus OK gow, no echidna in gow etc... You must not stray from gow games.
