The last one was the gem. The plain one that literally "bursts" when the light hits it just right. Outstanding top. Doesn't mean its the best playing guitar. But nothing a set up and some TLC couldn't remedy. You just don't see many like that one.
That 57 ebony custom is killer. Nice weight! I have an 89 custom In ebony and boy is it heavy! Like very very heavy, but I love it! I can hit a note, go to bed and it’s still sustaining the next morning! 😂❤ one day I’ll have to grab one of the CS 57 custom.
The very first guitar you unboxed is my holy grail. 0:53 Then I said He better not pull out a Gold Top with P90s. *AND YOU DID!!!!* Two of the guitars I want more than anything.
I not only play, but collect guitars and research both contemporary and vintage guitars. I make an adventure of every part of my guitar "hobby" and am retired, so I can finally spend that kind of time on it. Among my "adventures", I have my very own unboxing ceremony which includes checking the condition of the box and taking pics from the time I start opening the box to when the guitar is completely unpacked and I can give it a thorough once-over which includes taking artful pics from every aspect and angle. I reserve playing it until I'm not in some kind of hurry and can swim in the experience. I create a Google Photo album with a complete writeup reviewing the guitar and any special story there might be about the acquisition. I include anything that has to do with the provenance of the guitar and take pictures copies or screen shots of any paperwork and case candy. Aside from being able to look back at my buying experiences, the information is right there for adding it to my guitar insurance and if I ever decide to sell it. I think I've come to enjoy photographing and writing about my guitars as much as playing them! It takes the "hobby" of playing and turns it into one of my favorite" avocations" and really puts a cherry on top of each guitar that finds its way into the fold. I retired eleven years ago and would not have had the time, or even the inclination, beforehand, so I feel quite fortunate to have been able to push the limits of my guitar playing such that it's so immersive, and I've learned a hell of a lot about guitars in the process. I highly recommend "making a big deal" over each new guitar that finds its way into your hands. Thanks, Peach Guitars, for being one of the better shops out there. I enjoy perusing your website and can appreciate to added time and energy required to take it up a few notches over your competition! There's something quite special about celebrating the arrival of so many wonderful Gibsons!
Love the unboxing videos... Not joking / exaggerating at all, but I literally had the thought earlier today that you guys hadn't done one in a while, or you fell out of my "algorithm" and I just missed it... And then - voila - this video shows up !
Thanks for watching! When we have a large delivery come in, we'll always shoot an unboxing video! Make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications, that way you'll never miss a video!
I also like mint condition guitars, but to provide a counterweight to some of your questions: musical instruments are not cars. And Gibsons are not the same as other brands. Gibson only use nitro, so there is basically no way to keep a Gibson in mint condition. If you play it, the finish will wear. Even if you don't play, it will likely change in colour. Which is to say, people who buy Gibsons are not in general looking for pristine, shiny and without a blemish. Paying so much for this kind of aging is a mystery to me, but there is quite clearly a big market for it.

Only had my 60s Unburst Les Paul & 335 for 4 months, already ultra light aged... can't put them down, they are so good & all for nothing & a great deal of fun.
@@briandennehy6380 facts. i do 90% of shopping with my eyes but i heard the neuroticGuitarist guy play a murphy lab and i swear it was one of the greatest tones i ever heard
Does anybody just want a standard as new gloss finish on their custom shop guitar anymore? Or do they all need to get key jobs and crap smeared all over the hardware in the "Murphy Lab"? 🙄 They were beautiful guitars but then they charge another 3k over the standard Custom Shop price just to make them look awful. What a joke.

3:50 Can you hear it sustain?
The winner at 3:30 😁
Budget is £500, which one can i buy ?
These look sweet feet! The relic question is simple. Why try and figure out why someone else likes something? You like what you like and I say cool!
would you pay someone to scratch up your Mercedes or Porche? Then why relic guitars? I like mine pristine and shiny, without a blemish.

Nothing like opening up artificially used guitars at 3X the price of new ones.
Yeah, they'll never catch on!

You can't argue that these are outrageously overpriced but also can't argue that they aren't gorgeous
