    Clearly we have all been watching restoration videos for a while to be complaining about video editing, method of sanding, grinding, wire brushes, finishes, hand work, missing parts etc etc. Nowhere does he say he's trying to restore them back to the most original state and sell them with 100% authenticity. Look at his workshop, his tools, his sand blaster even - he doesn't have all the new, updated, crazy amount of tools we see in other videos. He's starting out and he's happy to make something old and rusty look like new. If you want him to have all the tools and video editing skills then send him the money, get him the subscribers to do so. Saying what you would like to see or how he could maybe do some things differently is constructive but otherwise give him a break. He's doing great.

    • @hattestofmads
      @hattestofmads 3 роки тому +6

      He didn't ruin anything. He took something that someone left for trash and fixed it up the best he could

      I believe the majority of the comments are about the harshness of his methods. That’s not a tool specific issue; rather a learning curve.

      @@Catbirdmom2 nah. Lots of people commented on those specific things so I copy and pasted my comment on multiple videos because he was getting an unnecessary amount of hate. And yes I mean ridicule, not constructive criticism or suggestions

Its not true, everywhere in the world if you have something antique and specially metal objects nobody rips off patina, any museum, any collector any temple. Things comes there new and that happens only ones, with the time this objects becomes a witnesses of history and time, its like wisdom that human get with years of life study.
