If I wanted Liberty brand overalls I buy them. What has possessed Carhartt copy Liberty overalls. Guess I'll have to go back to my standbys key, roundhouse and Dickies. Although Dickies has got a new Liberty style bib but I don't care for either. But you still can get their classic bib
Been wearing Carhartt bibs for 25 years. Love the new zippered chest pocket and cuff reinforcement, but the super shallow front pockets are a big fail. Don't expect to not lose your keys, coins or other items if you're crawling or working on your back.
I just buy these bib overalls today I love them 😍.2021 model.
I also got, carhartt hats,beanies,2 diff.carhartt jackets,carhartt pants regular kind and wool lining pants.i love carhartt products.make good clothes to wear around downtown when I'm out.

Can anybody point me in the right directions I have wore Carhartts for 35 years I wear 34/34. where can I get some .everywhere I go is small medium large extra large sew on they do not fit why do they always have to change things when they're good The Way They Were
Guess I'll never buy another pair of Carhartt bib overalls. Really don't like the zippered big pocket. Of course Carhartt is farming out a lot of their production overseas now.
do these run true to size ? i’m a 38 but don’t know if so should order a 36 or stick to 38???
I ordered some at home depot (didn't have my size in store), on the tags it insisted you order your regular pant size. Haven't got them yet so can't confirm whether or not that's accurate though. I've bought different style pants before in my size that ended up being way to small for some reason so here's hoping that doesn't happen lol.

Why? Is Carhartt going the of the Levi’s?I have worn R01’s for 30 years. 2 pairs every year. Now I can’t get them? New ones aren’t available in Duck brown in my size? Why? Did George Soros buy the Company?

Dickies stopped their workwear line too. Brands like to gradually gentrify. I'm also very sad about the r01s. If you look up carhartt it's all about fashion models and stuff now.

@@wigit2216 if it's not broken, don't fix it. The new style could have been offered alongside the old style, that thousands of working class guys like myself have been loyally buying year after year for decades. Some guys have been wearing the RO1 overalls for 30 or 40 years. Personally, I like a few things about the new style, but still prefer the old style. The new front pockets are WAY too small. My biggest gripe.
I don't like the new bibs,I got about twenty pairs of the older style bibs still got the price tags on them,I learned if you like a certain Carhartt buy a bunch of them ,I have about thirty all different kinds of coats but none of mine has elastic around the waist I hate those,But I have to sayi got a huge collection of Carhartt it's the only thing I'll wear,If it's not Carhartt I'm not wearing it.
First thing that turned me off was that elastic waistband. Nothing says inferior and won’t last like elastic does.
What the hell... I just bought a new pair and paid 99 bucks and you guys have this from a year ago with greatly reduced cost... Carhartt make some pretty good stuff but it ain't worth the price. Especially if you actually use it for work!!!
The elastic waist thing is kinda weird. They didn't stop making r01s or r37s though. That's what you want... Edit: they DID stop making r01s! R01s built the carhartt brand and we're by far their best product still. Did they really think this weird elastic maternity waist thing was better than a r01?? And everytime they "improve" the pocket designs, they're worse. I gave up and ordered duluth.
I really like it because it helps when layering.
Also the new pockets hold my multi tool better.
These new bibs Suck! The classic ro1 were perfection! I’ve bought and wore out over 30 pair and I’m now forced to buy this new style, what a piss off from what used to be a rock solid company!
What's the difference??
The difference: they use more material making them heavier and they wear out just as fast, the hammer loop is moved to the opposite side which is a huge deal for me, the elastic in the straps stretched to fast, the front zipper pocket is useless and they have made the main front pockets smaller and in Canada thei r 20 dollars more then the ro1
sorry , It looks ugly, compared to the classic overall.
Especially the bib, with the patch pocket.

I use them for everyday life when they are new and for work when they are no longer that shiny.
