- Guitarist Javier Reyes, masterclass at M.I., October 2023. Remastered, since the original audio was mostly inaudible, and I really wanted to hear this clinic. Post your own notes in the comments! ""Javier Reyes is world renowned extended range guitar player from the bands Animals As Leaders, T.R.A.M. and his solo project Mestis. Reyes has managed to be one of the guitarists to help popularize the 8 string guitar through his unique style which pulls influences from a variety of genres such as progressive metal, jazz, and folkloric latin classical guitar.""

Some notes. 20:40 Music Theory does not work for composing because Rameau's tonal theory is broken garbage, even though every music school requires it. Ask any songwriter or composer if they use music theory, they will say the same: it is mostly useless. Figured Bass is far more useful for composing but guess what? Most music schools don't teach it! It is a ridiculous situation.

Hopefully M.I. does not strike this video down, considering their original livestream had unlistenable audio.
