Your next goals for consistency is to cut the court in half. You can do both forehands and backhands straight across from each other, and then graduate to my favorite consistency drill; the rally in the alley. Where you have to keep your shots in the doubles alley. This drill you would start at the service line (mini tennis) and work your way back to the baseline. Good luck!
Oh I love this, I sent it to Shamir to see if he’s down to try it with me. I tried the rally in the alley the other day with another friend and boy was it challenging!! Thank you for your comment, I definitely will be trying this soon!!
These drills are essential if you want to better your skills and hitting ability ; but , you have to know how to hit a forehand and backhand. Most club players don’t have a clue in the mechanics of a forehand or backhand. They never learned the basic fundamentals . So they step onto the court thinking that they know how and they end up spraying the ball everywhere! And after only 5 minutes , they’re done ! 🤣
the algorithm just served up an ace, karla and shamir! 👏💪🎾

That’s how you build consistency
💯💯it’s been so pivotal in improving my game to this point
This is awesome! Both of you are really good. Going to try these drills this week. Also, what camera gear are you using? is it your phone?
Thanks a bunch! I’d love to know how you like them! I just used my phone to film this bc it was easier, sometimes I use a “real” camera 😆
I noticed you do little hops before the split steps. Pros do that too. Can you make a video or share how you do it? Thanks.
that’s a great idea! I’ll get started on the video :)
What is ur forehand grip?
@@doowonyang1658 semi western closer towards eastern than western if that makes sense :)
Most people don’t get this good in 10 years. Were you a kid when you first started?
Hi there! Thank you! I was 15 when I started playing :)
This is exactly what i do with many of my pupils if they have good level for
that's awesome, that's really going to help them and I'm excited to hear that other people are also doing this drill

You are %100 Right. Plus a lot of club players do not listen and want to hit hard with funny looking strokes😂😂
Wow, this court looks very similar to the one where Nick teaches
hmmm what an interesting observation 🤔
I wish I can find a tennis partner that I can do this with . For now I have the wall … better then nothing
