Thanks Greg. We were really taken aback by this area. So many people including ourselves didn't even know it was there. There's even more to come and we had to leave without seeing it all. Still shaking our heads that this is Ohio.

Thank you guys so much for showing love to Ohio ❤ and our favorite place! It’s hard to find a time when Hocking Hills is not busy lol As you know it’s a magical place and it pulls humans from all over the world to enjoy her beauty. Although some areas can be a bit loud there is always a little peace you can find 😊

The other trails in the park allows people to spread out more, but this one funnels everyone to the main event. A spectacular one it is too. We would love to get there at sunrise to listen to the water. We freaking loved this area.

I was having a hard time falling asleep so I put on UA-cam and forgot to set the 30 minute timer. I later awoke to this video, I was amazed at the clarity of the video. My tv looked like I was looking through the open door to your adventure closet and I could reach in or step through and be apart of it all. A few days later I decided to watch it again on the big screen tv and placed myself right in front of it. AWESOME 👍👍👍👍. And then a damn commercial came on. And every few minutes they pledged this video. I didn't see 1 commercial the first time I watched this. Just ruined the whole experience by yanking me back to reality. If there is any way to control the time slot for these during this video like have them in the begining and just before you say good bye, I would watch it again for a third time, I think that this is your best video by far. I have seen this place one other time in a video and had forgotten about it, I will never forget this place ever again because of you two and it is now on my list of place to visit. Thank you for taking me a long with you on this adventure 😜

This was an extremely eye opening comment. We're looking into this as some videos like this one need to not have interruption. Thank you so, so much for saying something. Glad you like it. Also, we don't have many subscriptions we pay for but youtube premium is awesome. It skips all the ads for you. Not everyone can budget extra things these days so we'll see what we can do to make adjustments.

Man that place is amazing! And Liz, your narration is so good! Your voice is soft and mellow, and the words are just so poetic, it creates a picture that only Charlie's pictures could accompany and do justice too. Thank you for keeping it real with us. Lol! We know full well how you feel about people and crowds and why. Most of us, feel the same way. The vast majority of people will scream at their kids to use their library voice! lol! But those same people dont have respect for nature and hold its beauty in reverence. There is just too many people on this planet. Its struggling to survive because we are not giving her enough space, to try to hold the balance. She lost that war about a billion or so inhabitants ago. And in the end, the world will be wiped clean, and she will find a way to recover in a million or so years, maybe a billion years, but we will be gone forever. Thank you guys. Who knew ohio held such amazing places. Two of the most beautiful, historically significant places and i didnt even know of their existence until you guys brought them to our attention! The life that you have chosen to live can be hard but you guys make it look amazing! there is so much beauty and peace out there, that living miserable here in the city, surrounded by people, and stress, just doesnt make sense. So you dont have a bunch of negative people who will dampen your vibe. You will get there, at the pace that you are suppose too. In m

@@TheAdventureCloset Im sure it hasnt been easy. You two are living in a mini van! And no offense to Opal, because she is fantastic and a trooper, but she wasnt meant to be a house and drive all over this country! But you are making it work. And you dietary restrictions because you cant drive with a fridge in the van, makes health problems that you bodies have to adjust too, as well. But you are making it work! And your doing it with smiles on your faces twice a week! And i cant speak for the whole community, although im sure i do, but we love you guys and every effort you go through, to document your journeys around the country! We love and appreciate the two of you, so much! Very beautiful natural amphitheater! Breathtaking! I can imagine all the native Americans sitting in the cave with the fire blazing and telling stories. It was probably very magical and maybe a bit spooky at night. Can imagine the chief of the tribe standing on the large bolder in the foreground. I would have stood in the water and had been blessed and baptized by Mother Earth in that sacred area, too. Liz had the right idea 🙂. In central llinois along the Illinois River, there are parks just like this that were sacred to the native American tribes. Look up Council Overhang in Starved Rock if you get around to it. Very, very similar! The canyons do carry sound quite well. People can be soooo disrespectful at places like this with dirty diapers, needles, beer cans, and yes, yelling and being loud and obnoxious. Large groups of people are the worst, lol. I found that going very early in the morning was always best and never on weekends going to places like these with canyons and falls. Up in Wisconsin here, the parks are much cleaner and maintained better than in Illinois. But, I do very much miss the parks in central Illinois. I just wish I could travel back in time when I visit places like this. I'm very glad to see you guys did another video at Hocking Hills. Have a wonderful week, Charlie and Liz 😊
