Man I used to love this game as a child, I remember playing it four hours and never getting enough of it, the best part was definitely the inclusive co-op mode, would play it with my little brother when we got bored of shooting at each other in the versus mode on our custom created maps.
If anyone is confused by whats going on in the game I will try to summarise Sgt Cortez, the scifi guy with the goggles, is jumping between time periods to track down the time crystals from time splitters (the weird aliens). When he goes back in time he sort of hijacks the conciousness of a person at the time that was in these situations. He is doing all of this to prevent a war and set up the final game. The issue is that it doesnt explain this very well in the game. KEVIN PLEASE PLAY TIME SPLTTERS FUTURE PERFECT. THE WRITING ALONE IS GOLD.
Yep, and thankfully the aiming mechanic has been modernized in Future Perfect. Even though Timesplitters 2 is my favorite in terms of aesthetics and map design, the aiming was a huge turn off for me. I wish they remastered it on PC so we can play the trilogy with modern controls.

The gunplay wasn't as good (and that's saying something) neither was the comedy, but the story was fantastic 😍😍

Yessss if they don’t remaster the timesplitter series they’ll seriously be missing out, that map creator was SO good and honestly is better than any map creator out there to date probably. You can build these giant maps with a shitload of objectives, place ai, weapons, it was and still is awesome.

I can't even begin to express how excited I am to see you playing this Kevin! This series doesn't get nearly as much attention as I personally think it deserves. Highly recommend giving Future Perfect a play in the future, one of my all time favorite games! Great multiplayer (which I also highly recommend, particularly if you mess around with the settings), a story that's much more cohesive, and overall just a really fun gameplay.

Timesplitters, especially Future Perfect was one of my favorite games growing up. My cousin and I would play it constantly. WAY ahead of it's time and sickeningly underrated. The features in these games were insane.

TimeSplitters was such a great series and I'd love to see Kevin play some more of this (maybe in split-screen with RT once pandemic days are over). One tip though for anyone looking to play this; while the aiming system is a bit fiddly, the default auto-aim is good enough that you don't really need to aim manually unless you're going for headshots, and playing it that way really boosts the pacing to ludicrous speed.

I didnt recognize this game until Kevin started actually playing, the snowy area brings back memories of playing this on a demo disc, many many many years ago.
The fun people had with the multiplayer and level creator was amazing, so much content and time just there. Would be gold having him, RT, an some others play some maps including some they made. Just having fun with the multiplayer and the maps alone would give some gold content with all the character. Kevin needs to be the snowman on the carpet.
I played the shit out of Timesplitters 2 and future perfect but I forgot how heavily they borrowed from Goldeneye 😅. Future Perfect had incredible multiplayer, and the fact you could play online was ridiculous for the time.
