- Well it looks like the UA-cam 'Invalid Traffic' bug has finally hit the channel. This invalid traffic bug has impacted my ad revenue from UA-cam. I'll talk about my experience with this issue and how I've been experiencing this issue since November 2022.

I'm a Senegalese UA-camr ! I'm working on UA-cam since two years now ! I stopped all other activities to work exclusively on UA-cam !!! And it Works !
But the first time I got this notification was in February 2023. It's hard for me, even if I'm making contents people love to watch and interact with, it's hard for me to make 200 dollars a month !
But UA-cam said there were invalid traffic, and then I lost my revenues and earn very few amounts the next 6 months !
Everything seemed to be ok on August, but yesterday I received the same notification !
An other tour for 4 other months with no earnings I guess.
I'm getting tire ! I spend so much time making videos ! It was hard even to pay my internet bills at the beginning, but it's like UA-cam doesn't want me to earn money on this plateform !
I don't know what to do now ! I'm loosing my motivation !
I had individual videos hit with this since the end of last year. A little over a month ago, my whole channel's monetization dropped 80-85%. For me, that's a loss of about $100 a day. Like you and everyone else I've talked to, I didn't do any of the things in their article. I didn't even know those were things people would do. In fact, I wish that's what it was. Because...I would quit doing it! LOL You're not alone. I hope enough people speak up that this gets resolved. It's been terribly demotivating for me.
Thanks for the comment! I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with this issue too. I have to push back on creating some new product reviews because of the lack of funds. I am not able to purchase some of the products that I want to review. This whole invalid traffic bug has been a pain to deal with.
I'm not surprised man, I'm not monteized yet but its going to happen soon. I just think they'll find ways to limit small creators because they want big creators to have the money.
Sorry you're going through this situation, I can understand the demotivated factor too. My channel is going to hit 1 million views, and 1k subs and its crazy for me to think that i wont be monetized even with that but even if i do, i would run into your situation? Crazy.

My revenue is less than before. The impressions on my videos has stayed the same.
