You'd never be allowed. The .db noises coming off those propellers are immense, noise makes hazordous enviroments even more harazdous and the noise could even break ancient native structures around those hazards. When they become commercial you'll only be allowed to fly these around ocean shores and even that will be restricted due to the whales and sheit.

Watching this develop over the past few years on UA-cam has been amazing. So I can only imagine how amazing it would be to actually fly a Jetson. The only change I would suggest is to guard the propellers. This could be achieved with a carbon fiber casing. Even if it adds some weight and reduces flight time, it's better to be safe than to risk a few extra minutes in the air and potentially lose a limb or even suffer a fatal injury from the blades.

Once petroleum is consumed its turned into vapor and is absorbed into the atmosphere where the tree's turn the co gases into oxygen. When a lipopolymer battery starts to break down it becomes extremely unstable and can explode releasing extremely cancerous toxic chemicals into the atmosphere which our tree's are not able to filter into clean air. Additionally the forever chemicals that are released back into the earth can take hundreds of years to break down.. This is the first APV that I have seen that looks like a good possibility for people being able to drive them like cars. Others are either to big or their wings are to big or both. They usually look more like a helicopter with wheels or something big and bulky making driving them difficult especially on normal roads. When flying they may have more room but to be road worthy not so much. This one is small and looks like it could drive easily on the road or air. I am very impressed. It's the first time I saw one and thought that might actually work.

I highly doubt that. It'll be the golden years when these are actually in the skies being used. And there's no reason to expect them not to be regulated, just like any other aircraft. Now we have autonomous vehicles and personal flight craft. Meanwhile, wait 10/20 years and the battery technology will allow craft like this to fly 20-30 times longer duration. Remind yourself of batter technology 20 years ago. This is great to see!

pretty much a drone fit for a human, with some tweaking probably just as agile though that might be a bad idea because of the G-Forces, there is only one question i have.... what if one propeller breaks due to stress? the flying pieces can easily cause some damage especially hitting soft parts like the neck... the way i see it some angled polycarbonate windows would be a nice addition especially since they are not that heavy or maybe carbon fiber ducts around the propellers for protection against a eventual failure though i don't know what implications it would have on thrust, a tight fit would probably bottleneck the flow of air on the lower propeller decreasing the overall thrust (maybe a mesh), the designing may be expensive due to several tests and possible redesigns but compared to what has already been obviously invested it's negligible and the final product itself is pretty cheap, easy to produce and lightweight... Also, not that you should design a aircraft to bump into stuff but ducts would even help protect the propellers in case someone accidentally flies into something like a tree... especially if these babies end up in the hands of ill-prepared civilians... a mesh separating the two propellers would probably be a good idea as well in case the top one fails, so the shards wont be sucked in by the lower one breaking it as well resulting in a serious problem...
One may say... if one propeller breaks flying shards are the least of your concerns but since it has 4 sets of 2 propellers in case one fails maybe disabling one on the other 3 sets will assure a stable descent and not having it spin out of control even if it doesn't have enough thrust to keep it flying but will surely assure a stable descent and will reduce a lot of speed compared to a free fall, you may even temporarily increase the power on the remaining propellers slightly above what they are rated for, for a brief amount of time just to assure a slow and safe descent, maybe even add some suspension to further decrease the impact along with many other possible measures... just my two cents... i am going to "shut up now", i like this kind of stuff way too much and it's hard to stop lmao... and sorry for any bad english, not my first language x)
