I grew up extremely poor and me and my 2 brothers didnt have toys. We never had a birthday. That kid will never forget that toy:)
Yesterday I came across a homeless man and bought him food, clothes and gave him money for days ahead. People saw me sitting and talking to him then we left together in my car. I see him all the time and I spent time earlier getting to know him. I hope it inspires others to take action because I know people who walk by him think of helping but are reluctant inside. We need to let go and freely give what we can.

This reminds me of the 1960s back then we were so poor we couldn't afford shoes. In the summer time we would go without them because we were out-growing our shoes before our mother could afford to buy us some more. So in the summer time we would go barefoot and she would use the money she was getting from ADC (aid to dependent children) to buy us shoes in the Spring, Fall and winter. She did the best she could and I love her with all my heart. People don't know how blessed they are to have a God sent man such this man who comes to help them with the heart of God. I thank God for this man. Peace and good health always.

@@missnyb7351 funny enough it's not uncommon for people to walk around bare feet in South African stores,especially in places like the Northern Cape,Northwest,George,Oudtshoorn and De Aar(that I know of)
It's usually pretty hot and the stores have AC so people tend to cool their dogs off on the cold floor to have a pleasant shopping experience

Oh, oh... Add him to the list of people who got a few bucks and were left without shoes. Like the homeless man the other day who was in rags, without shoes and looked like he wanted to die. He got a burger and coke and sent on his way. Same with the homeless man in rags who was hungry and shops refused to let him in the door. Same with an increasing number of homeless and needy on this channel that sets itself up as an example for others to follow. There IS money, however, for people with jobs and houses who are making a good living just to see how surprised they look when they randomly get money when they're not in need.

Six homeless men left in rags and one without any shoes at all who looked like he wanted to die. They were given a coke and a burger a couple of bucks and sent on their way while people who have jobs, an income and even a house are plied with money on this channel as homeless in the same area - some who haven't eaten for days - scrounge in dust bins for food. So bad, even commenters could see the obvious and terrible need that was going unmet. And, what would it have taken? Not much. Yet they went without.

Just some insight. There are lots of Afrikaner people who like walking barefoot, you'd sometimes go to the mall and see them walking barefooted. It's not always that they don't have shoes, but they love walking barefooted. Obviously this couple is struggling, but there's another possibility to consider.
