The weather was nice but too bright with such clear water apart for Mackerel and I didn’t have any feathers with. Still bugs me. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Robert.
Thanks @K.F.F. I was so pleased to avoid the blank. A pity I had accidentally set the camera on time lapse. I blame too much sun on the screen!. Tight lines.
Saved the blank with the last cast! Lots of people blanking on the shingle at the moment. I had no luck at Cley last week, and I've been told things pick-up as the sun goes down. The rig platform is probably connected with the Dudgeon offshore wind project. The cables are to come on-shore somewhere in the Weybourne area.
Always nice to finish with a fish, especially when its avoids a blank. The fishing generally is better once the sun goes down, It’ll soon be getting dark earlier and we will be saying “where's the summer gone, and moaning about all the Whiting” I think you are right about the rig. Wind farms every where around this coast. Thanks for watching @Salt_George. Tight lines.
Hi mate you ok, my last couple of sessions had been blanks then last saturday morning i managed a nice turbot at cleethorpes. My first one ever aswell. Well done on saving the blank with your dab. All the best from GRIMSBY.
Hi Carl. Sorry to hear you’ve had a couple of blanks, especially with bait being so expensive these days. So glad you caught your first Turbot though. I’ve never caught one so well done. All the best from NORWICH.
Another nice video. thanks for sharing with us these pleasurable experiences. I have a question if you don't mind. what about lures fishing on the this beach? wearing Chest Fishing Wader for example? asking for your opinion and view.
Thanks for the comments, as for lure fishing at Weybourne I don’t recall ever seeing anyone using lures along the North Norfolk coast. Weybourne beach drops away to deep water quite quickly and you could find yourself out of your depth very easily. It is a very popular venue for Mackerel fishing at this time of year, if you remember to take any feathers!
The majority of people are saying its there for cable laying for the wind farms. Thanks for letting me know yoyr thoughts on the subject . Tight lines John.
Very enjoyable to watch as always mate, it must have been a pleasure just being there in such nice weather :)
Cheers
Robert.
