Sydney was hit by a monster storm with warning spread across much of state. Flash flooding, localised flooding, and lightning were the biggest threats.
Hi daniel just love watching your utube of storms i follow you every wnere you go even in the states u zre such a lovely person so kind and gentle you make us proud you are a aussie
Thanks for sharing this. Seems we are getting to big ones back!. When I was 10 in St Ives, '80's I used to see the fronts come in like a skier's wake of snow.. Then I'd get the plastic sheet out, get into the deck chair next to the pool and watch the lightning go from one end of the sky to the other.. Patrick, RE: static, You can feel your hair on end if a lightning leader is forming close by.. Then you're meant to crouch low so you're not the highest object, and on one foot as any ground distribution of current isn't going from one foot into you then out the other. Mind you, height didn't seem to matter when Lightning missed two trees, and UNDER the 4 powerlines to strike the main transformer just outside our driveway. I was about 10 metres away from that one in the loungeroom, watching the T.V blow up.
I’ve always wanted to experience a real heavy storm like you have down there😍 Just love thunder and lightning storms❤️ In What part of year do they usualy happen?
I had in November three stents put in broke my ankle in two places but through all of that I will still support Daniel through his storm chasing event this year if he comes again to the US of a
I was in that storm! Driving to get pizza mum and I remarked on the huge shelf cloud and ominous green glow coming from it. Waiting for our food at the shops the downpour came and the footpaths flooded in minutes. Dining tables were lifted off the ground and people hurried inside to escape the floodwaters. Only lasted about 15 minutes then the rain slowed. Amazing to watch
Wow what a wicked shelf cloud. Nice! Always remember with high standing water around, turn around and don’t drown. Lol That’s what us Meteorologists are supposed to say anyway.
You know you're an Aussie in a storm video because as soon as you feel static you gtf inside, unlike 99% of American storm chasing videos of people just.. standing outside while the air is fizzling.
A whopping 350mm of rain 🌧 fell down in Sydney in just 2 hours flooding the streets the Storm ⛈ front rolling in from the South bringing Large Hailstones winds of 100km/h Gusty Southerly Winds hitting Menai , Bangor and Alfords Point just before 8pm and also Destructive Winds also brought down a Giant Gum in Palm ✋ Beach 🏖 and it comes as a second crisis unfolds in Mona Vale a roof of a Childcare centre torn off in 115km/h Wind 💨 Gusts 💨 Goodbye 👋
On one level, this is what the future will be like, the erupting methane in the melting arctic will be at killer levels by 2030,the will produce postive feedback loops which will overwhelm us,its a sad state of affairs for humans right now.Methane is the Key word so its time to understand this.
OMGosh! That was one crazy storm!! Thanks for sharing, Daniel!!!

Wow fantastic storm How long did it go on for. Lol it floods like that outside my house when we get heavy rain ( eastbourne in uk )
I’ve had the pleasure of being in the cockpit during a storm. The view from the sky is amazing, everything seems more 3D.
So on this night, it was my year 10 camp and on this afternoon we had a dinner cruise in the Sydney harbour. lol it was definitely a experience!

Wow, not often that you see Daniel run. When lightning roars, stay indoors, or car.
Sounded like he said "static noise" meaning he heard the buzzing of an iminent strike
“This is a Beautiful storm” got me dying laughing 😂😂😂😂😂
Wow what a wicked shelf cloud. Nice!

NSW and south east QLD are quite prone to severe storms.

Where abouts in Sydney was this filmed?
Jack Foran somewhere in the eastern suburbs Vaucluse area.
The power was not harmed in the video or the buildings it was a nice day with mother nature mad.
did he say statics guys? what does it mean?
On the 14/10/21 the sound of lightning is uh nearly as this because it is the sound of like Supernovas
I live in Sydney & experienced this.
Why are Aussie storms so violent?
Atmospherically speaking
biggest number of thunderstorms is in 2018 june but not in 2018 december
Will Europe and uk will have some as Australia because the world hot up and climate change needs change
Wheres the monster
