same here man, i bought the psvita last year and it's a constant race against time. Never bought so many games before either but i don't regret it. I enjoy my games and i have so much fun despite the pandemic situation.
I made the huge mistake of downloading binding of isaac for the 3ds a while back. Now I own it for vita and switch. I play this game more than I think I have any other game. So many things to unlock and such high replayability. Only reason I say mistake is because out of all the games I've bought, I keep coming back to isaac.
Metal gear solid collection/ jak and dexter collection/ sly cooper collection/ resident of evil collection/ ratchet and clank collection/ persona 1-4/ persona 3-5 dancing. Those are my recommendations for now
Speaking of Jak and Daxter, I'd also recommend the Daxter game that was made for the PSP. I absolutely loved that game, so I also bought it on the Vita.
@@Ian-ze7ih I especially recommend the Sly Trilogy, mainly because people don’t realize that you won’t be able to play Sly 3 on Vita after the store closes. The codes in the physical copies have expired so the only way to get Sly 3 is to buy it digitally in the collection.
You plan on including PSP and PS1 games in this series? Today’s recommendation: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for PSP. It rules. It’s similar to the console version but has some different gameplay scenarios and story beats. Scoop it up for $10 before it’s gone forever. 💔
Its just been removed from UK store. I was too late! It was only £3.99 around a week ago too (around $5.50). Thanks Sony for de-listing with no warning. Get them quickly people. The de-listing has begun
Unfortunately, Sony won't do it or allow their game developers to discount their games if they choose to do so. Sony just really wants to be done with Vita and PS3. I understand now this decision has actually been a couple of years in the making despite how we all just found out now, but I wish they would just give a clear reason as to WHY they're doing this. I don't know what they stand to gain or benefit from taking down the stores. Sure, it could free up resources for them, but FOR WHAT??? I love Sony, but they're consistently frustrating and tone deaf.
@@NyneIX9 i really hope they make a successor for the vita CUZ GODDAMN IT if they're gonna take away our vita fun then we need a substitute for it that is not nintendo or mobile
If we're talking digital only, my 5 suggestions are: 1. Touch my Katamari 2. Trillion God of Destruction 3. Disgaea 3 and 4 bundle 4. Binding of Isaac 5. One Piece Burning Blood
I know the Vita version of A Boy and his Blob is also a crossbuy game, so you get the PS4 version, as well. EDIT: Oh.. you get the PS3 version as well! :-)
Please keep making these videos even though the PS Vita store is no longer closing down in August. I am looking for new Vita games, and searching through the storefront is very slow.
video suggestion: PS Vita "TV" Games to Get Before the Store Closes! with emphasis on games that have local coop support, haha. also my vita memory cards are mostly maxed out of space, physical is the way to go, let's do this!!!
Actually a PSP game, but it plays great on the Vita, I'd recommend to get the Metal Slug Anthology. If you like the Metal Slug arcade games, this is basically all of them (You need to get Metal Slug XX separately) in one package. I ended up buying this anthology on the PSP, the Vita, PS3, and PS4. Yeah, I guess I love the games. ;-)
There are tons of JRPGs for the Vita. Maybe most of it's library is actually that (besides the late 2D-pixelart-chiptune-indie genre). Persona 4, TokyoXanau, Digimon, Ys, Tales of Hearts, Trails of Cold Steel...
Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth series (so rebirth 1, 2 and 3) for those that are into lighthearted and funny/parody turn-based jRPG and ok with visual novel style storytelling; it’s a must buy trilogy imo.
Here's five recommendations: Sly Cooper Collection (vita) Soul Sacrifice Delta (vita) Xenogears (ps1) Legend of Dragoon (ps1) Power Stone Collection (psp)
Store closing is big, gonna cripple the system a lot. Sending it off with this type of video is a great idea. Hope it's like 5+ videos about all the games worth playing on the console, hidden gem, translated stuff, all the goodness

Great video! I personally like games like F1, After Burner:Black Falcon, Wipeout 2048, Velocity 2X and Ultra amd others. The games you showed in this video are pretry awesome too! Thank you again Big J.!!!
My recommendations: Flying Hamster HD (Vita), Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims HD (Vita), Monsterbag (Vita), Patchwork Heroes (PSP), Monsters [Probably] Stole My Princess (PSP Mini) and 1000 Tiny Claws (PSP Mini). I think all of these are PSN exclusives that will not be available anywhere after the store closes. Those two PSP Mini games were made by the devs of Fall Guys.
Thanks for the heads up 2 days ago of the physical games, I got a copy of both pre-order. Also I am no a sub on patron. Nightcry is one of my picks for sure to back. The steam version may run better overall... but has no controller support. I would say get -Iconoclasts - Unit 13 - Gravity Rush(Gotta own this and the remaster if you love the franchise lol). - Tearaway (vita versions best) - Soul Sacrifice - Uncharted: Golden Abyss.... There were a ton others but I played a TON of the ones mentioned :D
@@PSVitaat2am What's scary is some of these digital only ones you mentioned never will have a cart release... Let's hope the homebrew community is on it xD
Knytt Underground is still one of my favorite indies on the Vita. It doesn't seem to click for everybody maybe cause there's not much action to it, but it's one of the best examples I can think of a good 'chill and explore' game.
I recently grabbed some PSP games on the PS Vita I currently have the following: Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection Final Fantasy III Daxter Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins Killzone: Liberation
Thank god I have uncharted physically. That thing didn't release on any other system except if you wanna play it on an emulator obviously. Other games I think are a must have/play: 1. Gravity rush (most favorite vita game) 2. Killzone mercenary 3,4,5. Super meat boy, Papers please, Don't die (although not exclusives, I think they really suit the vita)
My recommendations for vita games Parasite Eve 1&2 (ps1) Dino crisis (ps1) Corpse party 1-3 (psp and ps vita) Silent hill book of memories (ps vita) Root letter (ps vita) steins gate series (ps vita)
My recommendations r Rayman Sly Cooper thieves in time Soul sacrifice delta Ragnarok oddessy ace Tearaway Dragon ball z battle of z ( tho u can play this one in ps3 or xbox 360 )
My list. CoD Declassified (shooter) Darkest Dungeon (turn based game) Mortal kombat (figher) All God of War (adventure) Need for speed (racing) Symphony of the night (adventure) R.E. revelations (horror/adventure/shooter) Batman Blackgate (2D adventure)
kinda obvious choices, but most of my games are prety anime weeb stuff so XP -Uncharted Golden Abbyss -Killzone Mercenary -Persona 4 Golden -Freedom Wars -Odin Sphere -Soul Sacrifice Delta for the anime games, the Neptunia and Senran Kagura series, but these are all on Steam(i like to play them more on the PSVita tbh) and the Danganronpa games, problem, these where actually removed from the Digital store,if you are interested,i wish you nothing but luck on finding cheap physical copies
My recommendations: The persona games (of course) Metal Gear Solid Collection Muramasa rebirth Killzone Mercenary LittleBigPlanet Sly Cooper Collection Deemo Binding of Isaac (im still looking for more games so yeah Imma update dis if I find good ones)
Good titles here m8! I would suggest these three games from Ratalaika: Red Bow, My Big Sister, and Just Ignore Them. A quick, fun, puzzle solving game, backed up with an interesting story, these 3 games should keep you entertained. And for a very generous price, don't let these go away.
You should do another video about hidden gems on the Vita because there are so many games. Here are my recommendations: Soul Sacrifice, Sumioni Demon Arts, CastleStorm, Draw Slasher, Muramasa Rebirth, Grand Kingdom, Killzone Mercenary, Rainbow Skies & Rainbow Moon, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and YS: Celeta. That's it for now or it would be overload. Some of those I listed are lesser known titles but tons of fun.
Metal gear HD collection / god of war collection /World of final fantasy /Gravity rush /Adventure time /The walking dead/plants vs zombie/bastion/chasm/shovel knight/metal slug 3/time spinner/one piece And more Edit: i highly recommend this list Just try one of those great games
For the Metal Slug 3 recommendation, I'd consider getting the Metal Slug Anthology (PSP) for the Vita... yeah, you sacrifice trophies, but you get most all of the Metal Slug games in one package. I also bought Metal Slug XX (PSP) just to have them all. heh
Digital only: stranger of sword city revisited, mark of the wolf, samurai shodown special, undernight in birth, monster monpiece, romancing saga 3, suikoden 2, zenpinball 2. Probably there are more..
I tend to like well known games; -God of War (Vita & PSP) -Mortal Kombat (Vita & PSP) -Star Wars -Ninja Gaiden -GTA:LSC -LocoRoco 1&2 -Flow I recently got these since the store is closing, but haven't played them yet. -Metal Gear HD -UnCharted -Oddworld New & Tasty -Assassin's Creed (Vita & PSP), haven't got Chronicles yet. -Flower -Little Big Planet (Vita) Any suggestions?
I would recommend to people to grab those crazy physical price games....at this point anything more then $100 for a CIB game. I just picked up Valkyrie Drive and all DLC for $39.99 - which is cheaper than the physical with no DLC for sure.
TxK is a great arcade style game if you like Tempest. Personally, this is one of my go-to games on the Vita when I just have a few minutes to play. I'm pretty positive this never got a physical release, as well... so snag it while you can.
🤔... Dungeon Hunter: Alliance and both Soul Sacrifice just pops in my mind, Persona 4 Golden, Silent Hill: Book of Memories, Flow, Flower, Odd World: Stranger's Wrath HD, both Ragnarok and New Little King Story... 🙃 Best regards Vita2am 🎮
My recommendations. Vita digital only games: Flower Secret of Mana Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds Guacamelee Super Stardust Delta PSP games: Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim Star Wars Battlefront 2 PS1 Classics: Final Fantasy VI and IX Chrono Trigger Castlevania Symphony of the Night
@@nddugas srsly?!? Wow, kinda makes us think twice about waiting for a final sale. If they are going to delist games before the final shutdown, better get a move on getting the games we want. This sucks.
Nice suggestions, i'm considering to take The Caligula Effect! I'm gonna add The 3th birthday (parasite eve spin off) and some PS2 classic like God Hand (what a hardcore game it was), Suikoden saga and Grandia 3. I think it would be better to take Metal Gear Solid HD collection on PS3 cause that version contains Peace Walker too, Vita version doesn't (MGS2 and 3 only). I would like to play FF7 Crisis Core but it's retail-only and I don't have evidence of its existance in this reality...
Resistance Retribution (another PSP game) is superior on the Vita because you can customize the controls and use the 2nd analog stick. :-) That really made this game sing. I wonder if it would be wise to do a separate video of the PSP games to nab for the Vita? And another one for the PS1 games? Oh... Split Second (another PSP game) is a really fun, high-energy car racing game that I grabbed for my Vita because I loved the PS3 version so much. Another one to consider.
I'm just going to say half of the library can be on switch if you're not crazy to buy them normally (there's no denying the fact that certain game will be lost forever
*Looks at PSN recipt for Gal Gunvolt* Good thing I got this one on sale when I had the chance. Boy and his Blob? Now I'm kinda split. Should I try to get Vita exclusives, PSOne classics to make my PSTV a proper Playstation Classic Mini, or try and do both and only get half of what I want at best? Choices, choices.
Zen Pinball and tables. (tables are cross buy for the ps3 and 4) Jet Set Radio Lemmings Touch Mobile Suit Gundam EX VS F Severed Soul Sacrifice Delta Tales of Hearts R HISTORY Legends of War Patton
A Boy and His blob was such a great game. I originally played it on the Nintendo Wii. Sucks that a physical wasn't released on the Vita..Also Time Spinner is available physically on the Nintendo Switch.
Thanks for starting this series, but you should point out which of these games are PS4 Cross-Buy, since we'll still be able to buy those for some time after the Vita Store closes. It's unfortunate how many Vita only versions of games are stuck at $40. I'm too much of a cheapskate, especially when the PS4 version can be bought for less.
@@PSVitaat2am you probably already have but legend of Dragoon and Chrono cross are great too. Def dig into the ps oone classics. I don't think many of these are playable outside of vita and the ps3
Oh man... tell me about it... just the other day, I was hunting for a delisted game in my download list to grab again and it took me like 20 minutes to find it. lol I have waaaaay to many things in my download list.
I've bought some ps1 and ps2 classics since they are the cheapest at a standard price. I already own the best ps vita game which is Gravity Rush \(* ^ *)/ and I would highly suggest people to buy this game cuz it's a masterpiece. Oh and some other games i would highly recommend are: Persona 4 golden (I bought the ps2 version only on ps3 cuz I wanted to live the days I played this game on the ps2 with old visuals again) , Corpse Party Blood Drive ( The story is amaaaaazing), God of War collection is a must have, Wipeout 2048 ( if your into futuristic hovering vehicles racing games, It's unique and awesome, I love it), Tokyo Xanadu (Awesome JRPG), Akiba's Trip Undead and undressed ( If you're a man of culture) and Mary Skelter ( I never played it, I missed my last opportunity to buy it in the Retro and Remasters Sale in Feb 2020 cuz I thought the sales would keep going so I waited for another time but it never happened).
I'm doing only a short PSP collection list for you all; it covers all (or most) genres & ALL are bc for Vita: Kenka Bancho(beatEmUps) Dissidia 012 Duodecim (Fighting) Crash TagTeam Racing & NFS Carbon(racing) FF Tactics War of Lions & Persona 3 Portable (RPG) Capcom Collection Reloaded or Remixed (Retro Arcade) Patapon (Rhythm)
I can't believe nobody mentioned the zero escape series. All 3 of them are on the vita and honestly are a must play for people, who like games like Danganronpa.
I would grab the danganronpa games. Im not the biggest fan of visual novels so it takes a realy good one to hold my interest those 3 games are deffo my reccomendation. Might as well grab ultra dispair girls as well.
I would recommend Gravity Rush. It was remastered for the PS4, but it feels much better on the vita, due to motion controls and allowing you to feel more like you are in the game (since screen is tied into the same device as controls)
Honestly i want to still make a video about monster hunter type games.to get on vita before the shutdown. Monster hunter freedom unite, freedom wars, god eater, ragnarok odyssey and a nod to soul sacrifice. Also, blazblue is the best fighting game on vita. Marvel 3 is much better on other platforms and cheaper and tekken 6 is a psp port
Yes, in fact I already made one that I will now have to re-edit due to Sony's new decision. I am thinking that maybe I'll keep doing them but maybe turn it into a "digital Vita game recommendation" set of videos. What do you think?

Binding of Isaac
(im still looking for more games so yeah Imma update dis if I find good ones)
Awesome, great recommendations!
Awesome recommendations :)
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Metal gear HD collection / god of war collection /World of final fantasy /Gravity rush /Adventure time /The walking dead/plants vs zombie/bastion/chasm/shovel knight/metal slug 3/time spinner/one piece
And more
Edit: i highly recommend this list
Just try one of those great games
Plants vs zombies went off the store years ago, but agree it's good game.
For the Metal Slug 3 recommendation, I'd consider getting the Metal Slug Anthology (PSP) for the Vita... yeah, you sacrifice trophies, but you get most all of the Metal Slug games in one package. I also bought Metal Slug XX (PSP) just to have them all. heh
@@KabukiKid Metal Slug Anthology is awesome on Vita. And the load times are so much better than the PSP UMD version.
@@mr.s9783 Oh, so true! Yeah, I have the UMD, so I know what you mean. :-)
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Shinobido 2: revenge of zen
Is an excellent game on the vita
Thank you for the comment!
Digital only: stranger of sword city revisited, mark of the wolf, samurai shodown special, undernight in birth, monster monpiece, romancing saga 3, suikoden 2, zenpinball 2.
Probably there are more..
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Great title! 😉
Hey thanks Reg! :)
Thanks again James for the game titles, I'm going to download all of it 😊
Hope you enjoy! :)
I tend to like well known games;
-God of War (Vita & PSP)
-Mortal Kombat (Vita & PSP)
-Star Wars
-Ninja Gaiden
-GTA:LSC
-LocoRoco 1&2
-Flow
I recently got these since the store is closing, but haven't played them yet.
-Metal Gear HD
-UnCharted
-Oddworld New & Tasty
-Assassin's Creed (Vita & PSP), haven't got Chronicles yet.
-Flower
-Little Big Planet (Vita)
Any suggestions?
Love the Loco Roco games.. definitely worth grabbing on the Vita. There is also Midnight Carnival if you want even more Loco Roco action. heh
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Dragons crown, ratchet collection, daxter
I would recommend to people to grab those crazy physical price games....at this point anything more then $100 for a CIB game. I just picked up Valkyrie Drive and all DLC for $39.99 - which is cheaper than the physical with no DLC for sure.
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
@@PSVitaat2am Have you also seen the video that some games are disappearing from the store? 2 old 4 gaming put out a video on it.
Timespinner is my type of game !
You'll love it :)
love it too
A fun little shooter I recently picked up that should be picked up is Neon Chrome.
I'll have to check that out!
TxK is a great arcade style game if you like Tempest. Personally, this is one of my go-to games on the Vita when I just have a few minutes to play. I'm pretty positive this never got a physical release, as well... so snag it while you can.
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
A big thumbs up :)
Get RE 123, P E 1 n 2, may be the ff series too.
Thank you for the comment!
I LOVED Chasm, best metroidvania on PS Vita I've played. But I haven't played Timespinner yet but I look forward to it.
Thank you for the comment!
Ótimo!! Eu já assisti muitos videos de vita e nenhum recomendou timespinner e nightcry! Parecem bons!
Eu sei que você vai amá-los. :)
Nice list of games I need to quit slacking and start downloading games.
You should! You never know what could be delisted next.
My recommendations.
Vita digital only games:
Flower
Secret of Mana
Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds
Guacamelee
Super Stardust Delta
PSP games:
Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim
Star Wars Battlefront 2
PS1 Classics:
Final Fantasy VI and IX
Chrono Trigger
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Thank you for the comment!
Chrono Trigger has been delisted. 😔
@@nddugas srsly?!? Wow, kinda makes us think twice about waiting for a final sale. If they are going to delist games before the final shutdown, better get a move on getting the games we want. This sucks.
@@sabinkenobi Yeah. I was going to buy Chrono Cross (since I already have Trigger on DS), but both games are delisted.
@@nddugas bummer dude, this whole thing sucks.
Thank you for the comment!
they'll never be gone pkgj exists
Exactly, no need to feel guilty about using it now.
Very well said :)
I picked up Freedom Wars (physical) yesterday! Timespiners looks interesting. I'd actually forgotten about it.
I think you'll enjoy it :)
Thank you for the list, I just modded my vita to have the SD to vita
Good choice!
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Yeah, I also recommend FF Type 0. It is vastly superior on the vita, because you also can use the right analog stick for the camera.
I got the two new games from play Asia pre ordered today.
Sweet, enjoy :)
I would personally recommend pixel junk monsters ultimate HD. It’s a fun and addicting tower defense game
Awesome, great suggestion! :)
And the pixel junk shooter collection
I'm just going to say half of the library can be on switch if you're not crazy to buy them normally (there's no denying the fact that certain game will be lost forever
True enough :)
A great game is north, runabout, and proteus
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Hidden Gem: Super Monkey Banana Blitz. Trust me.
Awesome, great suggestion! :)
I wonder how many people think it’s a good idea to rebuy digital copy of games you own physically. In case you lose the physical edition.
Hmmm I guess there could be some.
I guess it comes down to what's more important to you. :)
Zen Pinball and tables. (tables are cross buy for the ps3 and 4)
Jet Set Radio
Lemmings Touch
Mobile Suit Gundam EX VS F
Severed
Soul Sacrifice Delta
Tales of Hearts R
HISTORY Legends of War Patton
Thank you for the comment!
A Boy and His blob was such a great game. I originally played it on the Nintendo Wii. Sucks that a physical wasn't released on the Vita..Also Time Spinner is available physically on the Nintendo Switch.
Thank you for the info :)
Thank you for the suggestion :)
Armored core 3, Armored core silent Line. Hotshots Tennis, Marvel vs. capcom (if you can still get it) Darkest Dungeon.
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
@@PSVitaat2am you probably already have but legend of Dragoon and Chrono cross are great too. Def dig into the ps oone classics. I don't think many of these are playable outside of vita and the ps3
@@PSVitaat2am Awesome channel! Keep hope alive!
Don't forget about DLC! Downloading DLC from the download list is horrible...if you have a lot of stuff on the list the scrolling never ends D=
Oh man... tell me about it... just the other day, I was hunting for a delisted game in my download list to grab again and it took me like 20 minutes to find it. lol I have waaaaay to many things in my download list.
Ugh I could imagine :(
I've bought some ps1 and ps2 classics since they are the cheapest at a standard price.
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
I'm doing only a short PSP collection list for you all; it covers all (or most) genres & ALL are bc for Vita:
Kenka Bancho(beatEmUps) Dissidia 012 Duodecim (Fighting) Crash TagTeam Racing & NFS Carbon(racing) FF Tactics War of Lions & Persona 3 Portable (RPG) Capcom Collection Reloaded or Remixed (Retro Arcade) Patapon (Rhythm)
Hey thank you Bushin, I appreciate that :)
Luckily I’ll be getting my PS Vita back from my friend who has had it since last June. I’ll probably be getting Persona 1 and both Persona 2’s
Happy gaming :)
I can't believe nobody mentioned the zero escape series. All 3 of them are on the vita and honestly are a must play for people, who like games like Danganronpa.
Yes excellent series
i have a couple of these on other consoles, the game everyone needs on vita is odin sphere
Oooooh that's a good one :)
Ah yes(the thumbnail). The game that was promise for vita that never came out although maybe for the best
Yes I quite agree!
I would grab the danganronpa games. Im not the biggest fan of visual novels so it takes a realy good one to hold my interest those 3 games are deffo my reccomendation. Might as well grab ultra dispair girls as well.
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Absolutely Muramasa rebirth and the ginroku legends
Big thumbs up :)
I would recommend Gravity Rush. It was remastered for the PS4, but it feels much better on the vita, due to motion controls and allowing you to feel more like you are in the game (since screen is tied into the same device as controls)
Thank you for the comment!
Awesome, great suggestions! :)
Are you still going to make part 2? You mentioned a lot of overlooked vita games I haven't seen on other peoples videos
Yes, in fact I already made one that I will now have to re-edit due to Sony's new decision. I am thinking that maybe I'll keep doing them but maybe turn it into a "digital Vita game recommendation" set of videos. What do you think?
@@PSVitaat2am That sounds good to me :)
My vita was stolen a couple months ago but today i found a soul sacrifice red edition for $170 on ebay and bought instantly.
Nice! Great way to make it up! :)
