The watch looks very beautiful on your wrist, it the perfect diameter for you. Me happy for you, because you are very happy about the watch......that’s how it should be.
@@kittenfan I knew it! The lady said they were the same size (I’m also interested in the white dial date version) which did feel smaller to me but she said just cause it was thinner.
@@lastofmykind8 she lied to you. the date version is smaller. i personally think you should get the date only version. the daydate dial seems off to me (not balanced) but again this is just my opinion.

The watch stack up really well against all other watches I have ever had ie: omega AT, Rolex milgauss. ofcourse the omega and rolex are better but they are a lot more money. if you compare value, this one wins. matter of fact, i like this more than my AT last time. the size, proportion is just nicer. and the dial is also quite complex with circular wave guilloche on the dial. and did i mention that though this has ETA movement inside, but the date switching mechanism and the accuracy has been dead on. i am impressed to be frank. put aside watch snobbery and if someone just wanna have 1 watch that they can kick it with, this is a mighty contender.
@@mikearkous8379 Trust me, get this one. link is not as popular as this one. but popularity aside, you will be blown away by the proportion of this watch. its 39mm which is classic compared to link that is 41mm. easy choice, i will go with this any day of the week.
@@mikearkous8379 this one is robust, the calibre 5 is workhorse. the water resistance is 100m. what more can you possibly want? if you compare this against explorer, sure rolex is going to be more robust, more accurate probably, but you willing to pay 4-5 times the money? on preowned market now, the 39mm explorer is like 8-9 times more than this. i cant justify that kind of premium. if money was not an issue, sure explorer is better watch but in the value department, this one really hit it.
you need to adjust for the month that has 30 days. this means , you will adjust for about 5 times in a year providing you wear your watch everyday. there is quick date mechanism that allows you to change the date easily. its not bad at all. if you hate doing this, you can get a watch with annual calendar / perpetual calendar complication but the servicing and the cost wont be friendly. so my point is, set the date is fine. and if you wear it often, you only have to do it 5 times in a year, so not bad at all. i hope that explains.
@@mikearkous8379 yes, i will say so. its not as iconic as rolex but is it worth paying much more premium for explorer just to get that "iconic" status? if you just want fully functional watch with decent look, this is your best bet. the movement is tough too.
I got my grey version of this 2 years ago. It is great keeps it’s looks well mine still looks new even after 2 years of wear

The day date is 41mm , i like this one better with 39mm size. classic. but if you got bigger wrist, go for it!
