- ▶︎▶︎ Helmut Marko has recently spoken about the possibility of seeing Verstappen depart Red Bull before the new regulations kick in 2026, and it does look like a realistic option for the 3-time world champion considering the drop of performance that happened in Red Bull in the past couple of months. Given the fact that the Dutchman wasn’t quite listened to when he pointed towards the primary stabilty issues of the car, Marko’s statements make a lot of sense now and with the rise of Aston Martin’s technical department as well as Honda’s arrival from 2026 onwards, can this be the next destination for Verstappen and his loyal companion?

Stroll would get belted by Max so i don't see how that is an issue, in fact I can see how Max would prefer having someone like Stroll in the other car, an easybeat.

Stroll is the perfect teammate for max, he won't get in the way, apart from when he would get lapped.
I find it ironic that this is so similar to Hamilton. He told his engineer what he thought the problem was and was told they were the engineers. they finally admitted to Hamilton that maybe he was right, and off to Ferrari. Likewise at Redbull, Max gave them his input, and he'll go with Newey. The arrogance of some teams comes back to bite them when they lose such valuable assets.

As fans, it is clear to us that sometimes the focus of the team must fall, but why does Mr. Adrian N. not perform the team until the end of the year as it should be, and not like this, as he is here but as if it is not, why is no one talking about him, why is he not doing his job for which is paid. I know that he deserves most of what he has achieved, but he can't leave work half-way, and they, like drivers, are paid per season and not half-way, if he doesn't want to work anymore, let him go, good luck, this is a disaster.
If Newey continues to work within RB, he takes a whole load of extra knowledge and ideas with him when he leaves.
I wouldn't blame Max if he leaves Redbull. The team (mainly Horner) doesn't seem to be listening. The car is a complete mess and Max can only do so much with the RB20.

I have heard tell of a new device to be fitted to the Red Bull car. Basically what happens is that when Max is not winning he presses a button on the steering wheel and all of his Teddy Bears get thrown out of the cockpit 🤣
And are captured by Lewis, which gives him comfort. That is also the reason why he no longer wants to win every race. He sees that Lewis and his so-called fans are completely devastated and wants to spare them even more pain. Max is such a nice guy!!❤

Verstappen going to Aston and giving input like Michael Schumacher at Ferrari, as long as Lance Stroll doesn’t get in his way (it won’t be Alonzo with Verstappen).
I expected a balance shift to another team but not the speed in which RB have dropped in competitiveness.
Did Max complain about not removing the magic valve?
If Red Bull isn't listening to the person that single handedly carried them to both driver and constructor championship.
They cant cry if he seeks out to another team, Max is the sole factor for the success they had last few years, surely the car being a rocketship helped but it was only a rocketship in the hands of Max and not in that of any other teammate.
But aside from them listening to Max or not, at this point the whole inner teamstructure that made it possible to obtain those championships is lost anyway.
All key teammembers and high ranked people are leaving, even if you replace them it takes some time before it will be back to how it was if even.
So at this point literally any team would probably be better, even Haas or Williams because atleast they dont have that much inner team conflict.
I’ll be so sad not seeing Max wearing the RB suit and car if this is true but I’ll be happy seeing him succeed with Aston Martin. Plus they have the secret weapon; Adrian Newey.

It seems to me after watching f1 for the past 15 years that the driver is only as good as his car. I would love to see them race in the exact same cars.

I've been saying that for as long as I can remember (watched every F1 race since 1976) and yes I've watched many other series of racing for the same length of time. Many of them have better racing than F1.
They did that in 1984 and Senna, the rookie, kicked ass.
On one hand that would be nice but on another making your own car is what F1 is it's the "FORMULA" in Formula 1
Realistically norris should be winning alot more races than he is but with that being said redbull is a sitting duck so mclaren could get both championships. This season kinda reminds me of brawn gp where they were so dominate in tthe first half of the season but then the other teams developed their cars where as brawn gp kinda just had to hang in there with the car they had( obviously redbull has money unlike brawn gp had) where redbull at the time came so close to taking the championship but brawn gp managed to just hang in there and claim both titles and I think it's a similar situation this year too only difference is that mclaren will over take the constructors in the next 3 races. But ferrari could also have a mid season charge aswell and claim second in the championship since they had podiums both races this second half but time Wii tell and we will have to watch hiw things will play out

Who would want to be in AM with all those big egos and money. MV can’t drive without his fiddle brake. So Adrian Newey wasn’t the great designer without these brakes. Perhaps RBR are just doing some housekeeping and getting rid of dead wood. Once gone they can get a new broom and sweep clean. The Verstappen are more a liability and tried to take over RBR but not that powerful. MV is just an average bad tempered driver without a fast car.
