That is why you have to pay Microsoft a fee to get access to a developer mode. Also Nintendo is cracking down on the selling of homebrew accessories, so the accessibility goal is also becoming pretty hard, and as nintendrew pointed out this also will only work with the 1st gen batch of switches. *There was that one case Phoenix got his client found guilty lol.

Also ( other then pirating) is the reason Nintendo went after the team Executer ( or whatever their name was again lol) and any stores that were selling their products ( the little pin drew was advertising).

Well to be fair, SEGA did have some of the best looking games of the 7th gen (especially for early 7th gen game standards), but I'm not so sure on how exactly to gauge the quality of ET to Cyberpunk.

Nope. All the processing workload is handled by google’s Stadia PCs, all the switch is doing is running a video feed of said PC and sending your button inputs to it.
As a Nintendo employee, I can’t condone this. As a gamer, this is the coolest thing I’ve seen this year so far. I had no idea people could get Android on the Switch like this. Side note, please don’t call Nintendo if this bricks your console. It’s surprising how many calls I get about people bricking their consoles. Nintendrew is right by saying use a side console that never goes online. They will brick your console for sure.
Some people send e-meils to game producers, this Nintendrew guy writes to games; “Dear Super Mario bros, You rock. Especially when that guy was on the castle. PS: Do you know Metroid?"
Awesome. Even though are really underselling your premise. Getting a Stadia app for Nintendo Switch should really become a priority for Google. Given that the Switch will fall behind significantly in the console race, a new Switch model featuring a 5G capable network module should just be able to make it ready for the future.
Good video. This is a great solution I myself already do this with my old switch streaming my gaming PC and stadia. I also wanted to thank you for the arcade video that you made. It helped me build a arcade myself with alittle modifications for my set up.
Stadia was definitely before its time. Imo, it was undercooked, however with the recent chip shortages, it sounds more and more like a decent gaming option.

I think you've nailed this video, this is a scoop I'd be glad to get myself, and I don't think I've seen it anywhere else. Also, you didn't title your video ”How to run Stadia on Nintendo Switch", which would have been more interesting to me, but less interesting I'm sure to the vast majority. As someone who is into both LAN and WAN streaming, maybe I've finally found my reason to pick up a Switch. I could stream my PS4, PC, and Stadia games on one device. I bought a PlayStation TV recently, and that experience is honestly appalling, so maybe this is the way to go. Thank you, Drew!
@@stormenthusiast160 Same for me but it was a old Dell laptop with a 512MB nvidia quadro GPU and a 1st generation intel core i5 540m that ran gta 4 and 5 at 1280x720 8 - 20 fps and fallout new vegas at 1366x768 30 - 45 fps fallout 3 ran pretty good at 1366x768 35 - 75 fps and half life game of the year edition for win 98 ran the best on it at 100+ fps
You don't necessarily need an RCM jig, it's entirely possible to short the correct pins yourself,but a jig is much more consistent and safe, especially since Switch CFW is not persistent in the way 3DS CFW is, you need to go to RCM after every power off.
I hope this helps the Cyberpunk team to consider making an official Switch version of the game. Switch might not be a last generation console but it's still very relevant to gaming. There's still plenty of "new generation" games for the platform and I can't see why Cyberpunk wouldn't be one of them since it works so well on the Switch! We have to thank you for finding this out and give us hope for a Switch version!!
@@SilverEye91 I don't agree at all. Queuing is not something I like. And I need to seamlessly be able to play on my TV, as well as all other devices. Switching between them in the same session is also a must. Convenience is king for me, and Stadia is much more seamless and convenient compared to GFNow

For anybody wanting to do this, make sure you have a switch that released before 2019. Because Nintendo patched the RCM exploit in the newer models (HAC-001-1 models)
The good thing is that stadia is updated and every time it will be more powerful and without charging you anything, I mean you can always play the new games with your Nintendo Switch. STADIA WILL NOT LET THE Nintendo Switch GO INTO FORGETTING THANKS TO STADIA
Stadia and Nintendrew for the W. That is what stadia is. Play on your phone, tablet, computer or TV with chromecast (best for lower internet speeds), so no need to mod your Nintendo to do the same thing if works on anything already. However, still a really fun project for the hell of it. Nintendo just acting for the screen for it basically. Really cool video still and wicked mod.
Next up: getting microsoft flight simulator to run well on the switch with google stadia.Its sad 99% of these people dont realize its not being rendered by the switch its using a streaming service
The NH guide is a good starting point to learn how RCM works but don't boot custom firmware unless you're ready to get banned or you've set up an emuMMC and blanked its prodinfo. Just figure out how to boot hekate and then follow the XDA thread. Also, RCM is not firmware dependent but rather requires a console made before July 2018.

homie really said how i did it and went on his expectations for his ‘project’. when all you used was open software that already existed and launch to launch a program.
Believe it or not its kinda true I've got a powerful rig set up and when I steam link to a device like my phone or raspberry pi it sucks eggs, disconnects and drops frames all the time but if I was to stream a game using steam from my powerful rig to my ancient laptop which has the steam software installed it runs smooth without any hiccups, its really strange and I think its down to the steamlink app that gets installed on your phone / switch / pi, I think it needs to be optimized better
If you hsve an nvidia graphics card, try moonlight, much better. I'm playing cyberpunk on my ipad at 1440p ultra with no lag nor imput lag, streaming local from my pc.

I tried this earlier, not the biggest fan of Cyberpunk with a controller so I didn’t really play that much but I was pleasantly surprised that it worked.

GeForce Now is pretty good if you own games on steam or epic games already, it allows you to access them through a cloud computer

Believe it or not its kinda true I've got a powerful rig set up and when I steam link to a device like my phone or raspberry pi it sucks eggs, disconnects and drops frames all the time but if I was to stream a game using steam from my powerful rig to my ancient laptop which has the steam software installed it runs smooth without any hiccups, its really strange and I think its down to the steamlink app that gets installed on your phone / switch / pi, I think it needs to be optimized better
If you hsve an nvidia graphics card, try moonlight, much better. I'm playing cyberpunk on my ipad at 1440p ultra with no lag nor imput lag, streaming local from my pc.

I tried this earlier, not the biggest fan of Cyberpunk with a controller so I didn’t really play that much but I was pleasantly surprised that it worked.
