*22 Amazing Photoshop CC Tricks, Tips, Hacks & Techniques* - Let me know about your own favourite lesser-known Photoshop tips and hacks in the comments.
Jamie Windsor ok.now thst you kindly taught us everything about photoshop, please make a tutorial on how you made the intro with the transition..pretty please
I love your content Jamie but I really think putting "hacks" into the title of your content is beneath you.
I particularly love the video where you quoted:
“You will become way less concerned with what other people think of you when you realise how seldom they do.”
David Foster Wallace
That had a profound effect on me and has become almost a mantra since and I am deeply grateful for it.
Neil Hunter Thanks. I love that quote. It’s one of the most liberating I know.
I’m not sure what your personal issue is with the term hacks. Merriam-Webster dictionary says “a clever tip or technique for doing or improving something” - so using the history brush backwards to paint in an effect can be classed as a ‘hack’. It’s a popular term people search for when looking for the sort of content I have in the video, so I feel it’s appropriate.
@@jamiewindsor sorry, it just reminds me of "top 5" lists or "hacks that will change your life" videos, more often than not when you come across the word on youtube it's linked to dubious quality virals with little to no production value and clickbait thumbnails. I'll be sure too practise 21 of the hacks at some point 👌
great content! for frequency splitting I prefer 'median' instead of 'gausian blur' - because it gives you more control on the edges (you can adjust the slide control to exact that point, where the edges are stil sharp, but the content is blured) - but I think diffrent ways... quite same result. thx for the banana mate :-)
I've been using photoshop since I was like 10 years old, and this is the most new knowledge about the program I've gotten from a video in a really long time
Martin Brunswick same
saaame but these are all relatively new features.
Same. Even though half of these are like new features of CC 2019 😬 always good to know what's up tbh
Photoshop didn’t exist when I was 10. Bought a Batman book once made by a digital artist using a prerelease version of Photoshop.
You're in a league of your own, man. That intro was just incredible.
Alternative title: Everything you need to know about PS composites. I have never seen such an amazing video. Keep up with the good work Jamie.
Totally agree with you, what am amazingly informative and easy to understand video.
4 tips in and I just realized I don’t know a thing about photoshop, and I thought I was an expert
eyes: open
jaw: dropped
mind: blown
Hotel: trivago
yee: haw
Is this fantasy? I’ve been using Photoshop for over 10 years, many of these tricks blew my mind. Wow. WOW! Image assets..... hoooolyyyyyyyyyyy!
@@DATECStudio Insane dude...
Same man! I use it more and more recently and never knew this stuff
As always, Jamie hits me with something I didn't know. You're gold, man. Congrats!
It still blows my mind at how many Photoshop features there are that do things I've done in painstaking ways before in seconds, and so often they're been there the whole time! The more you learn, the more you realise you don't know. You packed so much into a relatively short time which I'm sure took a lot of work, so thank you and keep making brilliant content.
Probably the best hands-on Photoshop tutorial I've ever seen on UA-cam. Thanks for making it!
I didn’t know 98% of these tips. I love your fast, concise presentation style. Also thank you for listing all the tips and their locations. This couldn’t have been any better. Thank you so much!
I have no words how amazing your content is.... seriously you are one of a kind in a youtube photography world. I wish you could post more often. Such a great values and quality... wow...
LOVE the two week rule for ethical retouching!
EPIC!!!! Thank you very much Mr Jamie! You are very kind
I have about 20 years of Photoshop experience and consider my knowledge level as pretty high but you managed to teach me a lot of useful stuff I didn't know before this video. Cheers mate!
Brilliant, brilliant. Quite a few I didn't know! Very useful, very concise.
Jamie... you've genuinely got the best thought out videos on all your subjects. The precision in all of them is just great. You can tell that you've taken your time and thought them all through over and over and you always execute. I watch hours of UA-cam per day (shouldn't really) and your videos are by far my favourite..
A little over two and a half years. That's roughly how much time I've wasted ignorantly doing things the long way in PSD for the last thirty years. Thank you for this life-changing knowledge in such a concise, enjoyable, and free format, Jamie. You're a saintly wizard!
Love your tutorials! plain language - super easy to follow - without some long drawn out dissertation on how it works.
me: "Half an hour? I'll never make it through all of it..."
J: "This is my last tip.."
me: "WHAT? ALREADY? NO!!!"
DUUUUUUDE 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳 You're saving people's lives with that! THX
Mind blown. My only complaint is that the video contained so much useful info that I won't remember it all; those that gave the video a thumbs down must agree because that's the only reason you could possibly justify a thumbs down. Jamie, you need to release a Photoshop brain preset so my brain is plug-and-play with all of your Photoshop tips.
I hope you know that you are enabling many of us to learn from you (and others like you) so that we can pay it forward. So many of us have struggled to learn PS and if it was not for UA-cam I would have given up. People like yourself inspire me to share what I have learned with anyone who is still struggling so thank you.
Thank you kind sir!
I especially like the calm no nonsense delivery.
Wow... you really are a wizard. Many thanks Jamie !
I've been using Photoshop for so long but still Jamie manages to surprise me with a trick. Also like the quick and straight to the point demonstration. Wonderful and very useful video!
🤯 that image assets was next-level, especially when it was auto-updating.
