    These clippers are so underrated. They are beasts and for very affordable price. I out the andis master blade on it so I could use the dbl magnetic guards. Amazing experience. Its what the cordless fast feeds should have been. And they are quieter than the masters and you can hear the hair being cut easily.

      @@Mr27danny27Are you referring to the blade the comes stock with the envy 2's? Or adding the master blade? I'm curious what to expect with the stock blade.

      @@Bread_n_Butter. new stock blade is good, but the guards it comes with aren’t. Big downside, you won’t wanna use it but with the master blade it works super good.

    🔥 vid, Tank! For fine texture hair you ideally want a high rpm clipper. But everyone should absolutely have a lower RPM high torque clipper to cut very coarse and coily/curly hair. This envy is a pretty good option to handle that.

    Tank!! My G! I hope you get to see this message.
    Make a video of why you have what you have on your bench showing us how many Clippers/Trimmers n why you kept those.
    Your vids are always dope. I’d just like to see what you rock n See what your preferences are n why.
    Much love to the channel. ❤

    Looking at the specs on Andis website it has the same motor as the cordless masters and a longer runtime

    • @Mike-hy8cs
      @Mike-hy8cs 3 місяці тому

      I think the torque is what feels different as someone who has both. The masters have more torque but they are also a lot louder because of that. This is more quiet and you can hear the hair being cut more with the ceramic cutter on it.

    Have these clippers and they are pretty nice, i don’t really care for the lever though. I got them in amazon for $80 when they first came out but that may have been a price mistake. The bracket does allow u to put other blades on such as the master blade for your purple guards.

  • @noedidit.
    @noedidit. 3 місяці тому +2

    I think the master blade on this clipper is a bit more exciting tbh. Also lets you use your purple guards. Do wish that andis wouldve brought out a classic body clipper instead of this shape.

    the corded envy and the corded magic clip are the same tier of clipper they should have released this in 2016 with the magic clip cordless they missed the mark
    on a side note are oster andis and wahl not watching the tapes on their opponent's they keep trying to things that worked in 2005 that dont work now i get the masters are kinda different with a rotary motor insted of the magnetic og motor but it was ok because they dropped against the corded seniors as direct competition now in 2024 they need to change the formula or they are gonna keep bleeding money and allowing stylecraft babyliss and jrl to run the game.

    • @legionofboombap4705
      @legionofboombap4705 3 місяці тому

      Yes, but it has more torque than most clippers. Speed does not equal power, it's all about torque.

    • @Mike-hy8cs
      @Mike-hy8cs 3 місяці тому

      Its really good for bulk. Not saying its the jrl or instinct but its just below those. And by that I mean you might have to pass this clipper maybe once or twice more than those clippers to get it down even

      lol clearly advertising above me but you’ll need a clipper with a taper and/or fusion blade as well as a fade blade then trimmers would either be Babybliss FXONE series or Wahl Hi-Viz or that Detailer IMO. I started out Andis Masters, Wahl Seniors & Legends learned with those then made the change to Babybliss Gold FxOne & LoPro One series. Buying another lo pro soon just to throw the taper blade on it. Currently using their fusion and MIM. Gotta have the best of both worlds. I cut at home and have few clients now from getting so good at it.
      That being said lol not going back to Andis & Wahl clippers
