As an English teacher from Germany, I cannot commend you enough for making my work easier every day. This collection of adjectives was very much on point and heaven-sent! Surely, these words will be ubiquitous in my lessons without my students using them superciliously. 🤗 Happy Easter to everyone and enjoy your bank holiday!
As usual, you've done a wonderful job and it'll improve our English knowledge day by day! Thank you very much Lucy. I took my English test last week and I got 98% on the test! :)

I was just studying for my A level exam in English that’s coming up in three weeks and was looking for advanced vocabulary, so this comes in very handy🤓🫰
You're precious, that's what I really need, I'm on C1, I couldn't find helpful contents to help me reach the C2 level on UA-cam untill I found this luxury channel ❤
This is really interesting. I love your being a logophile, because I'm one too. I would like to ask if it could be possible to have videos without captions, in order to allow one to test one's listening and understanding skills. Thank you for your beautiful pronunciation, it sounds as if butter wouldn't melt in your mouth!
Hey lucy! I really like your lectures. They help me alottt .. can you please make a detailed video on poetic devices and types of pronouns? Pleaseeeee?
I KNEW ABOUT HALF OF THEM BUT THE OTHER HALF I HAVE NOT REALLY USED THEM REGULARLY, THE LESSON IS GREAT AND I AM LEARNING TOO. YOU KNOW I READ 100 YEAR OLD BOOKS AND THE STYLE OF 100 YEAR OLD BOOKS IS REAL DIFFERNET FROM READING NEWS PAPER OR READING NEW BOOKS. I LIKE 100 YEAR OLD BOOKS STYLE OF WRITING. EVERY WRITER HAS THEIR OWN STYLES. I MAYBE TO LIKE IMITATE A FAVORITE AUTHOR STYLE OF SPEAKING AND WRITNG. WELL THANKS LUCY FOR LESSONS IT IS GREAT AND I REALLY ENJOY THEM.
Dear Lucy, could you be so kind and make a video about difference in using "another", "the other", "other". I noticed that many people couldn't explain the way to use these words. Anytime when I use "another" people say I should use "the other" but they can't explain why. Always feel confused. Anyway thank you for sharing with us so many useful and helpful information!
Thank you for another amazing lesson! I loved the kind of blurring effect when the word 'juxtaposed' was being explaned. I also loved to know how to pronounce 'ubiquitous'. I still find it hard to say it!
I love watching your videos to prepare for my English language exams. The adjectives help me write descriptive essays. The way you describe each word makes me so excited. you're so cute and the way you fangirl over the words is so wholesome. Ilysmmmm 😭😭❤❤
How to write a very persuasive descriptive and narrative Essay..I request you to please make video on this topic, I'm fond of writing but cannot write very persuasive and strong however after watching every single videos of yours I have improved very much even now I perform very well in my English test ... you rock! And I want to request you to please please please videos on this topics ASAP because I want to get full Marks in English Exam😅 and If I achieved that I'll be very much thankful to you.
So great ! Thank you so much, you make me realise that Advanced C2 level is just speaking old fashionned english as just when the english royal court spoke french at Shakespeare's time. Definitly not the kind of english language I want to learn unless I have the project to start a business in writing parodic comedies with Monthy Pythons style. I just want to improve my B2 level with some subtle touches of C1 level. I remember when I was in my teens in college, we had a lot of fun to speak with words we extracted from Molière's comedies that were not spoken anymore. Great ! In the same flow of ideas, recently, I had a great experience when I attend a Moliere comedy flowered with words from RnB suburban spoken universe. Hilarious. So, once again, thank you so much Lucy. You're so Solar. No wonder you loved so much living in Spain.
9:09 In Portuguese, "supercilious" sounds like the word "supercílios", which you know as "eyebrows". But, it also sounds like "super-sério", which you know as "super serious".
Your channel is great- I particularly enjoy the adjectives! I wanted to let you know “laudable” doesn’t have the correct description in the timeline below.
