Just have to say, not everyone eventually needs to come off of their medication. Some people need to be on them for years, or for the rest of their life. A chemical imbalance in the brain might need balancing for life and that's ok. If someone has diabetes they have to take their insulin for life, they don't start and stop it. If you have short term anxiety or depression then short term medication is OK. But some people have these things as disorders and will have them for life.
Yes! I am a lifer with anti-depressants and totallllly fine with that.. the two times I've stopped resulted in such horrid relapses(worse than the original depression), that took even longer to get out of! I still get depression while on my medicine but I know iam a far healthier, more functional person while taking it!
I got my Prozac prescription yesterday from my PCP provider the generic brand Fluoxetine HCL 10MG. I just took my first pill today Wednesday August 24th, at 1:25 am since I work from 12am to 8 am. I am going to take it everyday at this time. I already set my alarm on my iphone. I took it without food. I'm crossing my fingers and I am feeling anxious already and feeling scare about how I am going to feel soon. I hope I don't get a panic attack. I'm feeling weird right now but maybe is because I'm feeling very anxious about what feelings and symptoms I am going to experience soon. Prey for me yall. LOL. I'm trying to stay positive!!!

I just started prozac after being on zoloft for a couple of months, I had the worst week of panic attacks and suicidal thoughts so my GP said we should try prozac. I've been on and off meds for 8 years and I'm honestly lost all hope
@@danny208YT i can't believe i am saying this but yes, I feel amazing, it wasnt just the prozac I made some huge life changes got rid of toxic people out my life became obsessed with outdoor exercise, along with the prozac I have never felt so alive, I attempted suicide and to see where I am at now I feel like that was a different person. Give it time stick with it it took me a good 8 weeks before I saw the effects
@@justlaurenclare thanks for replying!! Most people I’ve found so far never made it through and went back on meds. I’m determined to get through this. I’ve had a rough 7 days. Today has been the first day I didn’t have a horrible panic attack at all. Had multiple each day over the past week. Constant state of panic and had the body tremors and twitches. Hopefully I’m almost through it!

@hartleyhare99 I didn't feel any difference until the end of last week. The positive definitely out-weighs the negatives. Fatigue, headaches, etc.
