These monkes are pretty cool but it makes me wish that Playmates didn't limit they're paint operations on just boxsets. It'd be very cool if some wide released figures (like the lizards) just had a little bit more to them. But still nice figures.
Yeah I’m not sure why they do that, but I understand “why”. I just wish they’d fly off the handle a bit more like with these and the Hong Kong Battle Figures. Hopefully the mid to last leg of the GxK wave will see something cool like those or these in single releases!
My personal favorite out of the two sets!!! Can’t wait to see Kong beat skar king to set his kind free and become king!!!
Rather excited to see how the movie turns out, myself! Hoping it’s a fun time! Bit more of a fan of the Shimo set.. just because I’m a loser for being blues lol

I prefer my kong have axe than yellow cast around his arm. Its supposed give him power up grant him his electric power from 1962 movie, although kong is taken misunderstood Frankenstein since kong was going fight Frankenstein before a certain man betrayed n backstabbed kongs creator n gave idea toho n then king kong vs godzilla happened. Now here we are today; kong still getting granted electric powers from kongs 62 carnate n he's still being misunderstood from Frankenstein. & yes kongs beard has grown out longer since Gvk. Mines still sport shorter beard. I don't mind shorter beard atleast he's not Saint Nicholas or Moses or Noah I'm fine. The beard came off 62 kong.
