Just saw the movie a few hours ago, it was awesome.
I would like to talk about how the film portrays Shimo (and how much I liked her) but that would go into spoiler territory.
Shimo was a highlight up until the end, we’ll say 👀
It was fine, but it was definitely the weakest film of the MonsterVerse

You ain’t wrong, it did feel kinda “mid finale” like. I think the MV needs a better set plan instead of going from movie to movie like it’s the last kick,

For some reason my Shimo has barely any blue on her body
post peakpire nicolas cage is surprised how similar playmates shimo looks to the real one
Surprisingly not too far off from all the blues and such she was repping in the film, makes me wish the Giant & Battle Roar figures of her would’ve just used the same paint applications.
But more Shimo, is good Shimo!

My shimo from this 2 pack is very different, as it has no big blue spots anywhere besides the back spikes. Instead, shimo has a very light blue gradient all over the figure. To me, it looks like a perfect balance between the single release and how most of the 2 pack versions look.
Mine's has that light blue as well, and even though I was expecting her to have this intense blue as shown in the package and this video, I still love her figure.
@@mm39607 Yeah at first I thought the blue was just completely missing until I took a closer look under good lighting, and realized that I actually liked it more this way more, compared to the intense blue.

Jesus saw the movie and PEAK I GENUINELY HAD FUN WATCHING IT AND I ACTUALLY LIKED THE HUMAN(mostly because of Bernie) and shimo is actually a woman and I liked how they did skar king he actually kicks ass
anyone else feel that Playmates give Godzilla the shaft? he has the least amount of articulation. nothing in the Elbows, nothing in the Knees.... he can only move his arms and legs up and down, im just saying, his name is first, he should get just as much love. even the little monkey has more to work with.
I’m not gonna act like I know why he gets the minimal end of the stick, but if I had to guess, it’s easier this way.
I wish this Alternative Goji came by itself. I don't want to buy both.

Yesterday I watched the movie and Godzilla did a backflip in the final fight and did a suplex (a wrestling move) on kong.. yeah 10/10

Great video! I'm new to Godzilla collecting and was wondering, which line is good to collect? I would like to collect Playmates but over there I saw that it's been a while (according to years) since they released Toho figures, and they dont release them vert often, is that true? I also saw that there is a line called Monster Series by Bandai, do they do scale with the Playmates figures or are they their own thing? Is there a line that has a wide variety of Toho and Monsterverse characters? Thanks, and I'm already subscribed!

The blue is really nice looking with the pink
Now that I’ve watched the movie I can safely say that Shimo is my no1 favourite kaiju in the monsterverse along with mothra and surprisingly Suko
But can we talk about Skar King (spoiler alert), literally the scariest things about Skar Kong are his absolutely malicious ways of killing and his sense of humour, everytime he smiled I got scared
For some reason my copy of the diorama set Shimo didn’t have the blues she only had a very suttle light blue tint that was hard to notice under regular light and it’s not the only one so I painted mine and I now call this color scheme blue ice ver. And mine I call “dragon color” as I use it for dragon versions

personally, my shimo from this set is actually missing the dark blue body paint and just has the light blue, and in a way i prefer it over the fully painted version and the basic 6 inch version.

I went to my local target the other day, found the entire 6’ line (besides regular Goji) and since they’re only $10 each (and with my $1 off all toys coupon) I got more or less the entire line for $45.
Not a bad lot purchase, at all. Just scrapping beyond $40 for multiple figures is an actual godsend these days lol

Battle Roar Shimo and Giant Shimo were recently revealed, as well as a 24 inch Colossal Godzilla and Kong, and the 13 inch Mega Kong and Mega Godzilla
