i think its vca you are theoretically talking about, dca only amplifies the "audio" thats was send to it.

You are confusing DCA groups with sub groups. DCA groups allows a group of channels on one fader. Sub groups allows a group of faders on one channel where effects can be applied to the group such as compression, echo, reverb, etc.
