Per Lotus team, it's only rated to use 2.0Ah battery. A full charge 2.0 battery is enough to get the job done. 😊 I think 4.0 batt will make the stapler/nailer deliver too much force on each punch that it can deliver some marring/mark/dent on the wood.
@@CoffeeBreakPH thanks for the feedback. It just seems a bit unintuitive for them to say that though. The motor just reloads the spring - doesn't directly punch the nails so I think the overdriving shouldn't be a concern, if I understand correctly. Plus there's an adjustment to tune it anyway. Was it a technical guy who mentioned it or sales? In any case, good early review - should be helpful to other's in the market for a nailer/stapler. A bit too late for me since I already got a pneumatic cordless before this came out (grins) - it doesn't drive staples and that is a function that I could've used.
